Vacation rentals in Union County

Our visit to this Airbnb was fantastic! House had a great view! Beautiful home inside and out. Hottub was great and the fire pit was perfect. This was exactly what we were hoping to have during our visit to southern Illinois.

It was the perfect place for our group to peacefully enjoy time to together to celebrate the Bride to be. Plenty of space for board/card games, activities, lounging and watching a movies. The property was absolutely beautiful and with a view of the river! The Airbnb was only 10 min from Cape and we could go to town easily for anything. Will definitely book again in the future! Laura was also very responsive and a wonderful host!

We were surprised by the amenities and care that Mary took to get the place ready for our stay. She had all the essentials in case you missed packing something and more. She was very responsive when we asked for dinner recommendations. The cabin is right at the entrance to Godwin trail and 1.5 miles from the cross. It is walking distance to the cross as well.

This was literally PERFECT for a relaxing and rejuvenating girls weekend! The location is very central to several amazing spots in the Shawnee; only minutes from Giant City Park! Elaine was very responsive and kind. We will definitely stay again if we come back!

The farmhouse has all the amenities that make a perfect getaway. Clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything you need, bathroom is spacious and the bedrooms are comfortable. Close to several wineries and sightseeing attractions. We have stayed here multiple times and always happy with our experience.

This is a truly magical location that offers a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. It's easy to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature right on the property through forest bathing, and it's also conveniently located near state parks, as well as various food and drink options. Bonnie and Paul have created a stunning, private space where I felt completely safe as a solo traveler, knowing they lived nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return in the future.

Feel like I was at peace The place is great

Adams Rock cabin was a great home base for our Shawnee trip! The place looks exactly as pictured/described. We appreciated the Native American decor as well as informative books in the cabin. The location is not super remote, but the large yard was perfect for our kids and dog to play and just enjoy being outside. We particularly enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the fire pit! For others traveling with kids, it is worth knowing that the loft bedroom is up a steep ladder without any particularly good way to block the ladder at the bottom or top. The kitchen was equipped with necessities but not a lot of extras. If you’re planning to pack picnic lunches for your hikes, make sure to bring storage containers! Overall, we had a wonderful stay, appreciated all of Mary’s helpful communication, and really enjoyed exploring a new-to-us part of the country!
