Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Upper Carniola

We simply loved our trip to Bled! The house was welcoming and at a walking distance to the lake. There was so much to visit in the area, so much beauty to take in. Thank you Stefan for sharing your beautiful home, Genevieve and family

A sterile clean apartment. It met our expectations of rest during the trip.

We spent the Bavarian autumn holidays in Mateja's house. We enjoyed the house with three beautifully furnished and bright bedrooms and a great conservatory very much! Because the conservatory was so great, we stayed there for a very long time even though we had planned one or two excursions. ^^; Mateja is a super nice, proactive and attentive landlady. Hopefully we can come back.

Sasha's house îs situated în a small village 20 minutes South of Postojna. It is an old family house renovated and beautifully decorated. It has everything you need for a longer stay, to include a small swimming pool. We only stayed 2 nights but wished we could stay more. Sasha îs a great host. He welcomed us, offered drinks and small gifts when we left. His attitude was always proactive and offered great recommendations. We felt great and we would love to come back. Thank you Sasha for a warm welcome and for making us feel like home. We would come back because the area offers a lot to do. See you next time Marian

We had a great stay at Ludvik’s house ! Everything is very clean and well equipped and the bedrooms are very spacious with a nice garden ! Just know that the rooms can get very warm during hot summer months and the neighborhood (dogs) were very loud early in the morning.

Everything was great, as nice surprise we have got also full fridge:)

We enjoyed Airbnb very much. Communication was excellent – we received a response within 10 minutes. The property is modernly decorated and stocked with everything you might need. A supermarket can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Everything was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable so we immediately felt comfortable. The outdoor area was wonderful for relaxing and grilling, with sunny and shaded spots throughout the day. Despite the summer temperatures, the house remained pleasantly cool, and the quiet location contributed to a relaxing stay!

We felt very comfortable at the place. Katja and Byron are very friendly and we found everything as described.

We had a wonderful stay with Olga’s family. Very clean apartment, well equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden. The kids loved to play outside (enclosed with swing, trampoline and playhouse). Nearby was a camping where we could play and swim in the river. It’s a great location to visit lake Bohinj, Bled, Ljubljana,…

We had an excellent 2 night stay! Barbara is friendly and very responsive. She was very helpful and provided everything needed and then some for our stay. The house is stocked with everything needed, making it a very comfortable stay. If in the area, we will surely like to stay here again!

Very clean apartment, in a quiet area, walking distance to the lake and restaurants. It was very comfortable for us,four adults and a small dog. Very nice and responsive host. There was a cake and doggy treats waiting for us in the fridge. Thank you.

When arriving at a new place after a lot of travelling it is reassuring to have clear instructions on how to find the apartment and how to gain access. Igor provided exactly this. Very clear and easy to follow. Once in the apartment I was very pleased to find it just as described complete with handbook suggesting where to eat, shop and visit. I stayed for 5 weeks and the apartment was well set up for this length of stay. I also liked its position in the city. It was easy to walk to all the interesting places in the city as well as very easy to access the motorway to visit places further away. Highly recommended.

we had excellent time staying at this home. everything was as described, our 4y little one loved it. parking spot i front of property, and what really was extra are board games (monopoly, chess, cards, Sorry!), so we had some fun. city center is like 8min driving. recommending and would chose again

We felt very comfortable in the apartment of Mojca & Uroš. The apartment is bright, sunny and cozy. The furnishings and inventory are high quality and tasteful. It's just all harmonious, you feel like home. The location of the apartment is very suitable for many activities in the area. Mojca & Uroš are likeable and accommodating hosts. Had a great stay at TJs temple. Everything was perfect. Easy walking distance to city center. We arrived hoping to drop our luggage but instead cleaner was finishing up so TJ let us in early. So appreciative as we had been up for over 24 hours. Able to cook dinner twice on induction hot plate and even do laundry. All systems were working properly. Place is very comfortable with lounging couches and dining table. Even had extra spices etc on hand. We really enjoyed the accommodations and would recommend this place. Peaceful, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Also, there is an excellent bakery next door. Croissants, Slovenian cakes, strudel, bread etc.

We had a lovely stay, Beautiful flat in the old town of Lubljana, very nice and helpful hosts, we stayed here with our dog, everything was perfect, we would definitely come back :) Minor issue was the parking in the backyard, the neighbors seemed a bit sensitive about us parking there.

What an absolutely amazing all-around experience. Ivy was proactive and helpful, and assisted us in everything we needed. At first I was concerned with the distance to old town, however I did a bicycle ride beforehand and it was only 10 minutes to get there and on easy bike paths. She also is within minutes of the POT trail which goes around the city on a 40 Km trail. So easy, gorgeous, and really fun to stay "out there". I put that in quotes because it was really easy to get from the place to anywhere. The walk to the main bus stops took us 9 minutes if you just wanted to take the bus. Ivy provides bicycles which is an exceptional service and one that we didn't take lightly. I cook every night and found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything that I needed. She also provided the "little things" that always turn out to be big things. Ie. cooking oil, vinegars, salt, pepper, spices, and then the extra things like coffee, granola, corn flakes and teas.

Miha was an excellent host! He was very friendly and has put a lot of work into his “Chilly Apartment”. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after long days of hiking! The suite was private and we could easily walk to the lake from there. We would definitely recommend this apartment to any friends or family!
