Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Uva Province

Wir waren 2 Nächte dort um den Udawalawe Nationalpark zu besuchen. Der Gastgeber hat uns im Vorraus bereits die Preise für die Safari mitgeteilt und uns über den Taxiservice informiert. Das hat vieles für uns erleichtert. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit freundlichem Personal und schöner Umgebung.

Just incredible! We kept extending our stay! This is an absolute hidden gem of a place with views to die for. The cabin is so beautiful with huge windows and lovely character. The bed is so comfortable too. We had three very friendly dogs keep us company and the neighbours cat! Watching the storms from the upstairs window was incredible and seeing fireflies in the trees was so magical! Sidhu kindly ordered us local breakfast from town each morning and had it delivered to us. He is the most helpful host and always responds quickly. He really goes out of his way to help you and messages to check you’re ok and if you need anything each day. The cabin is truly a place to relax, unwind and you can spend so much time just staring at the view and watching the wildlife (birds, monkeys, frogs!) I would love to return someday. Beautiful view and very nice staff. Breakfast was really good and fresh, definitely recommend the curry and milk rice. The treehouse is a bit outside of the city center, requires 1 or 2 tuk tuk to get up to the retreat (the second of which is steep and bumpy, so only the most stilled tuk tuk drivers can master it). However, the staff organised tuk tuk for us each time we came and went free of charge and it was always on time when given 10 minutes notice. Recommend this place for a unique and unforgettable stay in Ella.

Wow this place is incredible. Supun met us near Hetipola to tuk tuk us to the exact location as it is not accessible by car. It is set in a stunning natural area, in view of a rice paddy and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful lake. Supun himself was so friendly and helpful. His communication before and during the trip was excellent. He has great knowledge of the local area and wildlife and involves and supports the local community in the optional activities he provides. We asked if Supun could prepare meals for us, he gave us the prices in advance and sourced some of the most delicious local foods we have had on our trip. Supun helped to organise our onward travel which was super convenient for us too. The vehicle was great and the driver too. Overall it was one of our favourite parts of Sri Lanka. Very "off the beaten track" immersed in nature and Supun himself was great.

Es war super, die Inhaber sind sehr nett zu mir gewesen, die Unterkunft liegt in einem Paradies aus Pflanzen und die Aussicht ist Wahnsinn. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, man hat sich wie zuhause gefühlt.

Nous avons bien été accueilli par Dana, logement incroyable et atypique. Le repas préparé a été délicieux. Dana nous a donné de bonnes recommandations sur les activités à proximité. Nous avons eu son aide pour déposer nos bagages dans la chambre. Il nous a même aidé à mettre le feu de cheminée. Je recommande ce logement. Pour le moment c’est notre coup de cœur du Sri Lanka!

Wunderschönes Cabin mit toller Aussicht. Wir haben uns hier direkt zu Hause gefühlt. Wir haben mit dem gemieteten Motorrad, welches wir hier in der Unterkunft mieten konnten die atemberaubende Gegend erkundet. Wir können diese Unterkunft allen Empfehlen, die auf Ruhe und Natur wert legen und etwas abseits der üblichen Touri-Routen unterkommen wollen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

Lalantha was very responsive throughout the experience and gave information for our itinerary to ensure we made the most of our time in Ella. He was quick to communicate and was accommodating. Lalantha offered to make us dinner and breakfast for a reasonable price and it was very delicious authentic srilankan food. I would recommend to do the same. The place was very clean and in a quiet, peaceful and pretty part of Ella. There are other hotels very close to the property where we went to get some drinks and nibbles. It was perfect for 10 of us with nice outside dining areas and decent sized rooms for sharing. I would recommend having a driver to take you into Ella town and the other sightseeing spots. We were there for one night only and slept comfortably. It does get quite cold in the nightime because of the area so the only negative is I wish some thicker duvets were provided in some of the rooms. Apart from that it was a very smooth experience and very enjoyable.
