Vacation rentals in Valka

Altough it was only overnight stay, the place was great, sauna was good and hot. But I will recommend the place for a longer stay just because Otepää is a great place to visit!

This place was truly magical! I would give it more stars if possible 🌟 The location was very close to Cēsis and easy to find but also private. The interior was truly outstanding and the outside area is perfect for peaceful rest by the pond and a nice barbecue. The host even provides everything you would need for cooking inside, a nice outdoors bbq and even for the sauna. The inside of the sauna house was also outstanding - you feel like you are a part of the Baltic mythology and can enjoy magical sauna vibes with everything you would need available! 🙌🏻 The host was amazingly helpful and friendly - promtly answered all of our questions. Thank you, Inese! Overall I would recommend this location for any kind of bigger event or small gathering you might have, especially the sauna. I’m definitely going back! 🤍

All over good place, good location, good for families

The house was fantastic, and the owners were so sweet & friendly. Perfect!

During our stay, two things stood out with equal magnitude, the generosity of Andre (his friends, brother and family), and the beauty of the cottage/lake. If south eastern Estonia is on your list, visiting the area should be on the agenda without a doubt. We stayed there for a week and have not yet scratched the surface. There’s a lot to do there in terms of hiking, cycling and exploring the hidden gems, let alone the daily swims in the lake and enjoying the sauna. It’s possible to have both a calm, relaxing time in the cottage, and a wonderful time experiencing the beauty of the region and the kindness of its people. We started the journey knowing that we would be happy to treat ourselves with this part of Estonia which we hadn’t visited before and ended up knowing that we will revisit Rõuge. Thanks Andre for making our visit special and see you again soon.

We are extremely happy with everything ❤️ Place is definitely soo much better than pictures could show!! Place is amazing! Hosts are very helpful, nice and quick to communicate!! To be fare everything was so good that we didn't need any extra response!! But when needed, it was there! Little touches, such as fresh flowers on fireplace, where very thought full. We do believe that location also is very good! Turaida and Sigulda at door step! Lots to see and explore there!!! Riga is not far at all ether!! We highly recommend to stay at this beautiful home, you are in country side but close enough to explore xxx Thank you very much to our hosts for our comfortable and very enjoyable stay!!!
