Vacation rentals in Vatnsnes

We stayed for almost a week in this very big house which has everything you will need for excellent stay Thank you Edith it was a fenomenal stay i really liked the man cave with all the games , would surely recommend this place to anyone!

Het huis ligt op een hoogte met prachtig uitzicht en wordt omgeven door land met relatief veel vogels. Veel plekken op Snaefellsnes zijn goed te bereiken. De laatste kilometers naar het huis zijn onverhard, maar een 4x4 is niet nodig. Er is een goed bed dat maar net in de slaapkamer past, de uitrusting is ruim voldoende. De wifi-gegevens op de site van Airbnb waren niet juist, maar stonden in het gastenschrift, dus dat was snel opgelost.

Our stay at this charming cottage in Borgarbyggð was absolutely perfect! The house had all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!

A lovely cabin in a quiet area. It’s a pretty small space, but it has everything you need or a 1-2 night stay. The hot tub was great to have and enjoy the peacefulness of the area.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr süß und ausreichend groß. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen von einfachen Gerichten benötigt. Unser absolutes Highlight war der Hot Tub, in welchem man sich super nach einem anstrengenden Tag erholen kann. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Alles ganz wunderbar. Bei der Abreise konnten wir sogar noch Wale im Meer beobachten.

This was a great place to stay as a base camp for exploring western Iceland. Very clean and welcoming. The view is great, the hot tub is perfect after a long day walking around, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and grill had everything we needed in order to cook meals. Jon and Kristin were great and made us feel right at home. They even had chocolate bars for us when we got to the house! A couple minor things to know if you're considering this house. 1. There are 3 bedrooms, but the third bedroom has a sofa bed, not a regular bed. This room is also the TV room, so if you were planning on using the TV a lot, you would need to put the bed back in to a sofa and vice versa each day. This wasn't a big deal for us since we weren't planning to use the TV. 2. One of the reasons I really liked this house is that it had a fireplace. This is true, but it's meant for burning DuraFlame logs, not actual firewood. I didn't realize that "real" fires aren't really a thing in Iceland.

Wir hatten bei Irma eine schöne Zeit, wir fühlten uns in dem Haus sehr wohl. Alles hat prima geklappt. Den Blick auf das Meer haben wir genossen. Was gebraucht wurde war vorhanden. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Umgebung ist wunderbar. Irma ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und hat super schnell reagiert. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen wir kommen sehr gerne zurück.
