Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

Cozy converted barn with fireplace; nature retreat

Newly restored and converted barn, a magical space with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and hills. The barn is ideal for 2-3 people, but can accomodate a maximum of 5, with a double, a single and a sofa bed (access to sleeping space requires climbing stairs or a ladder). 20 metres from the barn, there is wood and a fireplace for an evening chat and stargazing by the fire. An outdoor shower with solar heated water is also available. The kitchen is functional and has amazing views!

The house has 3 bedrooms with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 living room with couch and big dining room, 2 bathrooms, 2 open terraces, big garden with pool and barbecue, fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Morning coffee, tea and pastry included!

On a wonderfull spot in a valley in the south of the Apuseni-mountains, you'll see this amazing 35 m2 yurt with a stunning view. Get closer to nature while still enjoying modern luxury. You'll have your own bathroom with outdoor shower and composting toilet. When it freezes, you can use the shower of our campsite. Go for a hike on one of the endless trails and build yourself a campfire in the evening, enjoy the sound of nature and come to peace!

The cottage is designed to calm the mind and delight the soul, it has a generous yard that offers privacy. It is perfect for an escape from the city, as it offers an authentic experience of connecting with nature. At the property there is a female Labrador named Theea, very nice in friendly, and a black cat named Bagheera. In the same large yard of 1500m2 there are two other houses, completely separate, I live in one of them.
