Greystone guesthouse is located on Holti Sheep Farm, Slaughterhouse and is welcome for guests to join our settlements. Holt stands high in the country and is therefore a unique view of the town barn, of the vast heaths and coastline of Þistilfjarð. The houses are 25 sqm and well equipped, with a kitchen, bathroom and sofa corner. Breakfast is made in baskets and included in prices.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

The cabin is just a couple of minute drive from Seydisfyordur. You might even spot some whales while having a bbq. Don’t miss to hike and visit Vestdalur waterfalls that is a short walk from the cabin. The cabin is provided with dvds, books and vintage video games.
