Our natural old house is located between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven at sea level, in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wadden Sea with typical shrimp cutter harbors. A place for rest and relaxation. Our family house, which is over 100 years old, was pragmatically renovated and furnished to our taste in 2017 in the former stable area. This double clotting farm dates back to the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the dart doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. A spacious seating area overlooks the West Frisian dike, a cooking island, and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. A garden with terrace is provided. The sea is within cycling distance where the quietest beaches in the Netherlands are located.

Authentic sheepfold, family, free, city center NL

The old sheepfold has been transformed into a modern guesthouse for families, located in the scenic landscape of the Gelderland Valley, a good distance from the farmhouse. The authentic character has been preserved with wooden beams from 1758 and a partly thatched roof. Overlooking old oaks and a young forest. OLED TV and good WiFi (fiber) are provided as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The sheepfold is insulated, with double glass and heated by underfloor heating.

Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of kilometres of alder, dykswâlen (wooden ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. Biodiversity is high here. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The area is very suitable for hiking, cycling, canoeing.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

Schaapskooi is a cozy vacation home. The holiday home can comfortably accommodate 6 guests. Also for rent in combination with the pig barn 6 people. Great for groups! Living room Living space, open kitchen (fully furnished) with an area of 50m2 + wood stove. Bathroom, shower, washbasin The sheepfold on the ground floor has a double bedstee: 180-210m. On the 1st floor there are 4 single beds, can be connected 1x double bed. There is a steep staircase to the top.

Relax in the outskirts of the Veluwse Wijnhoeve in Otterlo. The "Sheepfold" which is fully furnished for 4 people including washing machine. And with a lovely wood-burning stove! Plenty of sun and shade in the garden and private P-place for 2 cars. From this beautiful location, plenty of cycling and hiking routes and it is a 10-minute walk to the village and the woods. You are welcome to also walk through the vineyard, or sit there and enjoy the tranquility.

Rural stay on Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the city center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Elfstedenroute, is our rural farm. We offer you a spacious room in this rural and watery area, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/sitting area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is available. We have recently realized this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

"De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Onze "Mooie Liefde" was vroeger de paardenstal behorend tot de eeuwenoude boerderij waarin wij wonen. In 2020 hebben wij het samen met veel liefde en passie omgetoverd tot een tiny house met een oude geleefde uitstraling. Via de groene trap kom je boven op de mooie vide met een 180x200 bed, met tweepersoons matras en tweepersoons schapenwollen dekbed. Onder de vide vinden jullie de prachtige badkamer en keuken. Geniet van de Mooie Liefde! Jan en Caroline
