“This cabin was absolutely stunning! We used it recently for a girls weekend and it was the perfect place for the eight of us. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us girls. There was a full size kitchen that we were able to make all of our meals. The place also had a ton of cozy seating for us to hang out. The place does not have AC which made it a bit difficult to cool down during the hotter days. It also does not have a BBQ or fire pit. Luckily we brought our own portable fit pit to use, but we were out of luck with our BBQ food. It was also a two minute drive from Wakaw Regional park, which has a beautiful, clear, not-rocky beach. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!”

“Patti and John’s suite is super comfortable and features gorgeous views of the lake and the beautifully landscaped yard. The beds were comfy and the patio was well-shaded, so we had the choice of sitting in the sun or staying cool in the shade on hot days. A couple of bunnies regularly hung out in the yard and were fun to watch. We made use of the paddleboat and kayaks (there were 2 life jackets there, and we brought a couple from home, too), the sheltered fire pit, and the bbq. We’d recommend heading to the regional park nearby if you want to swim, as the beach there is sandy. The local 9 hole golf course is also excellent, and we made runs to DQ for Blizzards and Crossroads for butter tarts. We also grabbed kitchen basics that we forgot to bring with us from the grocery stores in town, which is just a few minutes’ drive away. Easy drive to Batoche if you’re looking for an activity. We brought beach towels and floaties for the lake, and some fishing gear, too. Patti was very easy to communicate with, although we didn’t have to contact her at all, really. And while we shared the house and yard with Patti and John (we had a walk-out suite and they are upstairs), we felt like we had lots of privacy and rarely heard anything from upstairs (certainly less than what you often hear at a hotel). Wifi was quite good and we had access to cable as well. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place that’s an easy drive from Saskatoon. We loved it!”

“We stayed at Jessie’s Cabin with our extended family and had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and a great outdoor area with fire pit, paddle boat, water toys etc. Our kids loved all the toys, video games, and bunk beds inside! And they loved having a park right next door. Perfect space if you want somewhere flexible that suits all ages. We had kids from 9 months old upto 60 year old adults and there was something for everyone. We would definitely book in the future!”
