Kick back and relax in this quiet, stylish home on our modern and high quality holiday home "Gestüt Lohhof". The house is idyllically situated in the middle of our horse stud. From the bed you can enjoy the direct view of the horse pastures – rest and tranquility guaranteed! The fully equipped cottage can accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults & 2 children). Optionally bookable: children's pony fun with guided horseback riding and individual horse coaching.

The tiny house is self-built and is equipped with an induction stove, kettle, small oven, dry toilet. Loft bed (150*200). A loft bed (100*200). A shower is outside. Around the farm are fields and meadows - the moor with its great offers. A beautiful lake, very easy to reach by bike. In the summer of 2024, a natural outdoor pool will be ready.

Relaxed, quiet atmosphere for stargazers! Idyllic garden house on former farm in a very quiet location. Ideal for cyclists and country lovers, far away from cities and villages. In good weather, stargazers can admire the Milky Way, as the view is so clear at night. During the day you can just sit down and listen to the birds and in the evening enjoy the chirping of the crickets with wine. Starting in October, the cranes move into the country.

Both sides of the Weser can be explored by the Petra Solara ferry and the Weser bridges in Nienburg, Schlüsselburg, Petershagen and Minden. Excursion destinations such as the glassworks in Gernheim, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial in Minden and Porte Westfalika, the waterways with the Weserkreuz and much more are very popular.

Circus wagon on the alpaca pasture - pure relaxation!

At Alpakahof Strange, we live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848. The Lower Saxony hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of a long-gone rural tradition. In the pasture behind the farmhouse stands the spacious circus wagon. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, who graze and rest there during the day. Pure relaxation!
