Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Warren County

Joon Woo's Pocono house was the perfect location for a peaceful and fun girl's getaway. The house was cozy and relaxing for the winter season, very close to Shawnee Mountain for snow tubing and skiing, and all communications were done in a friendly and timely manner. Would highly recommend staying here!

Had a great 3 night stay with my wife, kids and dog. The house is as described. The rooms were all very clean and well maintained. My kids especially loved the games room with pool table. It's in a peaceful location with a short drive (30 mins or less) to various restaurants, hikes and each of the three main waterparks. We didn't have any need to contact Javier and Jacqueline but what communication we did have was clear and timely. Would recommend.

The house was as advertised with plenty of space for our weekend men's retreat group of 7. We made use of the fire pit out back and the grill. Patricia was very helpful to provide us with several nearby hiking trail options. A good value for the money spent.

Theodore and Betty were perfect hosts. Very responsive with questions I had, and even allowed an earlier check in time. The home has a very spacious dining and living room with fireplace to accommodate my family in the evenings (two grown daughters and their husbands) for family dinners and hanging out watching late night movies . Outside entertaining was also fabulous with the hot tub, fire pit and outdoor furniture. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the river enjoying a cup of tea as the sun rose . We had fabulous walks on the Columbia trail through the gorge that is right behind their house. Absolutely stunning in the fall with the trees changing color. Weather was amazing but if it had rained I would have cuddled up reading a book by the fireplace . I plan to come back and rent bicycles from Marty’s cyclery in High Bridge and ride the trail. It was a perfect long weekend!

I’ve stayed at plenty of places by far this rental was the best of all! Most importantly Frank was extremely responsive. The pics don’t even compare to the inside of this place in person so spacious and beautiful my family loved every single moment !

We stayed with my family for 2 days and enjoyed this quiet, peaceful and private property. Isaac was extremely helpful and we would def. be back

Theresa was very accommodating. The view is fantastic and the house is very well provisioned. Close to stores and restaurants. Looking forward to revisiting in the near future! Did I mention the view was great!!!

Amazing place for anyone trying to spend some leisure time with family. Very spacious and very nice surroundings in the woods but close to everything to the city. Pool was and hot tub was amazing too! Definitely recommend this place 👌🏽 Looking forward to staying here again in the future 🙏🏽

My family and I had a great experience at this updated, clean and beautifully furnished apartment. We had everything we needed at our fingertips - towels, extra blankets, a huge selection of games for our family to enjoy. The location was close to restaurants and pubs. We loved the Farmhouse Eatery so much, we ate there for dinner and brunch. Street parking was available close to the Airbnb as mentioned in the description. We were a short drive to Shawnee Mountain - we even had fun antiquing at the Olde Engine Works. The only critique I have is the stairs going up to the door were steep - that being said, the staircase is covered and the steps are non slip, so we all felt safe. Overall, this was a fantastic getaway for our family. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth was extremely helpful and always available. The place was a little different than the photos, but still nothing wrong. We would definitely book it again!

Very spacious apartment. Nice backyard. Area is very walkable if weather cooperates! Comfortable bed. Love the gas fireplace. We were visiting family in the area so we did not use kitchen for cooking. Tim was very responsive when we had questions. We will definitely stay again when visiting family nearby.

The place was great and exactly as described. Very homey and close to Shawnee, which was our primary reason for the stay. There was access to an indoor pool, exercise room, game rooms for kids. I unfortunately mixed up the dates of the stay, but front desk staff and Gina were all very understanding and kind about the situation.
