Cabin vacation rentals in Wasaga Beach

This historic log cabin is a jewel. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Plenty of living g space inside for fun gatherings. Dog friendly allowed for 6 of us and 2 dogs to have a fabulous Bruce Trail hiking weekend. The hot tub to soak tired muscles was a major bonus. Jacqueline and Shane were super responsive, patient and helpful.

My family had an amazing stay at Jennifer's cabin! We came for a ski weekend with our 2 young kids and our dog. It was just a short drive to the ski hill, but the cabin was situated a ways back on the property and we felt like we were in our own winter wonderland. The cabin had everything we needed, including board games! and the wood stove kept us nice and warm. We enjoyed hiking around with our dog and also spending time in the hot tub. Jennifer was very communicative & responsive and we felt extremely taken care of and welcome. We hope to come back again one day!

We enjoyed staying in Jackie’s place. We did swimming, got a lot of fish, though not too big. Beautiful lake and boats coming back and forth. Walking distance to store on the lake. We also enjoyed very much the hot tub. Jackie is very responsive to our requests. Thanks Jackie for allowing us to check in early.

We had a lovely stay at Sochet’s place! It’s absolutely stunning, well taken care of, and easy to find. Sochet is also very communicable. I would be weary when travelling in the winter and ensure your vehicle is well equipped to handle the conditions - we have a crossover SUV that struggled to get up the steep, narrow driveway due to ice. The parking space is also very tight this time of year, and we couldn’t fit more than two vehicles. Just a word of caution :)

Emily was a great host. She responded to questions and concerns right away! The house and yard was beautiful and the hot tub was crystal clear. The house being right by the falls was nice and not far from blue moutian was amazing! The only down fall was issues with the hot water but Emily tried actively to get the proproblem resresolved even on a Holiday! Will definitely be back.

It was great stay, peaceful and Shaolin had it all setup very well, everything we needed to we had something for it. We went at a time when the lake was frozen but would definitely like to revisit again in summer.

Jennifer and Nigel were so friendly and accommodating. We came up after a huge snowfall and they spent a lot of time clearing it so it was easy to drive our car in and walk to the bunkie. They even took the time to set up a fire in the pit outside and pre-warmed the bunkie (it was -23 the night we stayed!) we were cozy and comfortable for the night we stayed. Would definitely recommend Jennifer and Nigel’s bunkie in the pines.

Perfect weekend get away. Close to the city. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play.

We had an awesome stay (my husband and 5 year old). Janice made us feel like welcome guests in their space and takes great pride in their cottage. So many down to earth things to do & explore! The pictures do not capture the wonderful experience we had. Waking up to the sights and sounds lily pad pond and then hearing the frogs & crickets at night was a lovely experience. We would highly recommend this cottage stay. Great space & Great hosts! Thank you we would stay again!

We stayed at the cabin 3 nights. I fell in love with this cabin from the moment I stepped in the door. So cute and beautiful surroundings! We lit the fire every night. And with no TV(which was great) gave us time to read, play games and I brought along my watercolour paints as well. The history or the cabin and reading the guestbooks told a lot of stories. The cabin was an art studio ❤️at one time as well! Ruby our fur baby loved the cabin as well. We will definitely return!

The Beach House was a beautiful spot. We loved the interior design of the cottage. It was located right by the beach and we enjoyed our walks on the beach searching for rocks with the kids. The fire pit was designed nicely and there was plenty of wood. Fireside chats, beach walks and the sauna was an extra special bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

The most perfect little place for a mini get away.

Rushad's guesthouse was great! I visited with my wife and our toddler in the winter, and it was extremely nice to escape the city, enjoy peace and quiet, and relax by the fire. We had some nice little walks around the pond in the snow—it was really peaceful and just what we needed. The only little things that weren't completely as expected were that the property is mostly just a big open field, without much to explore (in the cold weather especially,) and the main house is actually quite close. It didn't feel as private as I had hoped. But overall, a great stay.

We stayed at this A frame cabin as our anniversary getaway and it looks exactly like the photos & was extremely cozy! Leah was great help to assure we got there with no issues since we arrived after dark. Definitely recommend!

We stayed for 28 nights at Deborah's lovely cottage and loved every minute of it. Mom, Dad, 2 year old and 5 month old. Had some visitors with children up to 8 years old. Everyone had a great time. The cottage itself is very large and open and gives lots of space to move around. Primary bedroom is HUGE, so we put the crib in there with us and the baby took over the ensuite washroom bc we could make it pitch black. REALLY helpful that Deborah supplied the nice crib, pack and play, high chair and lobster chair which were all brand new and helped keep our packing lighter. The deck is huge and a really nice place to relax when you want the kids away from the water. The water is perfect for kids as it doesn't get deeper than 2-3 feet for a long way. In that respect, this is not a jump off the dock into deep water cottage so keep that in mind but I don't think you could find a safer, more child friendly cottage out there. Deborah is a great communicator, although there were no issues, she checked in with an email to make sure we had everything we needed. A patio umbrella was a bit wobbly and she had a new one over to us in 2 days which I thought was above and beyond. Overall I highly recommend Moondance on Morrison for a relaxing lake stay, especially with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at this family friendly cottage. As two young families with 5 kids, 5 and under, we appreciated the shallow walk/wade in area with some sand for the kids to play. We also enjoyed watching the many boats go by down the river every day and my kids enjoyed seeing how close the train was as well. Loved having a spot for mooring our personal boat and a launch spot 5 minutes down the road from the cottage was very convenient. Linda was fantastic with communication and quick to respond to any questions. We had everything available to us in the cottage we needed. Definitely somewhere we would be happy to stay again!

We had a really great stay at Amanda’s. The beds were comfortable , the space was cozy and clean, the host was lovely, and in general, it was a 10/10 stay for a weekend! Stayed with two couples and it was roomy enough for all of us!

We spent a perfect weekend at Muskoka Haven. It's beautiful, well decorated, and spacious. Big windows offer spectacular views, the dock is lovely and new and swimming conditions are perfect. We appreciated all of the kayaks and paddle boats available, as well as the bonfire pit. I would come back again and again.

What a special place right on the lake. Had a perfect family getaway here and can't speak more highly of Nadia's hospitality. The home was accurately shown in the pictures but the view is even better. It is more rustic but we appprecited the character & charm. Having access to the private dock, canoes, and firepit were a bonus. We were also lucky to have great neighbours who were renting the other half of the duplex. All of the town's amenities are less than 5 mins away by car. Hope to be back!

out stay was brief but great. we arrived late and everything was ready for us as described.

We enjoyed a winter getaway in the cozy cabin. It was plenty comfortable for the two of us, with a wall heater (gas fireplace), cooking options, portable power pack for making coffee and charging our devices, and an incinerating toilet. Colin provided water for drinking and for washing up. Colin was very responsive and made sure the driveway was clear for us during the weekend snowstorm. We enjoyed being close to outdoor recreation, snowmobile trails, and a visit to the pub in Creemore. It was lovely to watch the snow falling on the trees from our comfy bed. Thanks for hosting us, we would love to stay again!

The property was a great getaway. Our entire family had an amazing time. There was a lot to do on the property for all the kids and adults. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Mike was there for anything we needed and was proactive to ensure we had a great time! We would definitely look to come back for another stay!
