We enjoyed our stay at Ashleys's home. It is a beautiful, peaceful and lovely location, with great proximity to Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Institute. Our family enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the morning and noodling around the peninsula. It was a very comfortable space, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area.

It was our second time staying at this house. We absolutely love it!!! We would stay again.

Cheryl was great and very accommodating to last minute changes and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area! Would recommend choosing an airbnb with Cheryl in the future!

We were looking for a peaceful place to stay for a few days on the Maine Coast this fall. This home was perfect. We were very comfortable from the minute we arrived. We especially enjoyed the deer and turkeys in the back yard every day. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay near a working harbor and a short drive to the Schoodic area of Acadia this is a near perfect home.

The entire home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay to receive the new year . The location was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Josh and Vianca were exceptionally friendly and responsive, providing everything  we needed to feel at home which made the trip even better. The decorations, the deck, the kids section, lake, mountain, and location really made it feel like home away from home. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing place with a great host, this is the place. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Mandy’s place! The home was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location in Gouldsboro was absolutely beautiful and felt so peaceful. The drive to Acadia from the home was stunning. It was truly our favorite Airbnb of the entire trip! Mandy was incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations, which made our stay even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway in Gouldsboro!

Unbelievable place! This is perfect coastal Maine , so no need to leave property.its close to a great beach , Acadia, and host makes it easy and a wonderful experience!

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

Wonderful place to stay! Bill was an excellent host - great communication, detailed check in instructions, and helped find the best place to watch the sunrise! So glad to have had a chance to stay here!

The place is immaculate. It is very clean and tastefully decorated and exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is well equipped and the host has bagels, tea, pineapple juice, V8, soft drinks in the fridge for us. The host is thoughtful and even provides a USB-C cable for guests to charge their phones. Dana is a wonderful person, kind, considerate, helpful and communicates well. We had car problems and had to arrive late. Dana was accommodating. He left the lights on and waited at the door to greet us. We definitely will stay with him again when we are in the area.

What a great place to stay! Loved the location close to Winter Harbor and Schoodic peninsula. There was a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy, complete with fire pit, comfy chairs, grill, etc.. Stargazing at night was an added treat. The space was super welcoming, homey and fully equipped. They thought of every detail to make the guest experience easy, comfortable, and fun. I truly felt at home. Thank you for such a great stay and all the superb communication.

A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

We loved everything about Danielle’s place, including the location. We were happy that we stayed in the quieter Winter Harbor area instead of Bar Harbor, but we were really happy with our ferry ride to visit Bar Harbor for a day. The market, restaurant and ice cream stand right across the street were great. Beautiful views of fall foliage from the unit. Everything seemed new and clean. Could not have been better. Far exceeded our expectations!

We had a lovely stay in Joan’s Airbnb! In town visiting family, this was the perfect home away from home. Amazing view, comfortable and cozy, and very well equipped (we cooked several meals) and lots of extras included like freshly baked bread and local vendor wares….plus spices and 1/2 and 1/2, coffee and more! Joan was very responsive and helpful! Eastport is a great little town and we were in walking distance of downtown New Year’s Eve festivities! We highly recommend Joan’s place!

If you are looking for a peaceful lake front getaway at a beautiful, cozy cabin, tucked deep in the Maine woods, this is where you want to go. Pet friendly, with other dogs on sight that visit daily (..for a dog lover, it's an extra amenity!) The screen porch is the best room in the house. Newly built. Full bathroom w/ hot shower. Big kitchen, ready to make a feast in. Comfy beds. Catch fish off the dock all day, or rent a boat on sight and troll the lake. There was stuff to do in the area, but once we got there, we didnt want to leave, and only did when we had to go get more worms. There is a little general store a 15 minutes away, which had all the last minute stuff from milk & gas to fishing supplies. We also grabbed an absolutely incredible cut of meat from the deli and grilled it back at camp for the best dinner ever, which we enjoyed while listening to the sound of loons and crickets. It was picture perfect. A truly beautiful and special place. Can't wait to return!

This was a beautiful peaceful setting in a great location to access Acadia National Park. The cabin was very comfortable with everything we needed. Shasta was a terrific host and communicated in an extremely timely manner when we had questions. The swing out on the lake and the second floor outdoor deck were great to enjoy after getting back from a long day. The lake itself was pristine and had a gorgeous fall foliage backdrop. If nature is your thing, but with modern amenities, this is your place to stay.

Loved our stay at the cabin! The home was stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, has the most beautiful scenery to wake up to (we also were able to see the Northern Lights at night!) and while the bathroom is small, it was carefully thought through and functional. It is a bit of a drive to Acadia National Park and dining options, but we didn’t mind it with the lovely fall scenery along the way. The host was very responsive and friendly, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, quiet cabin in the woods. Highly recommend for a peaceful get away!

Abby's cottage was clean and fresh and in a beautiful location as described. Communication was prompt and clear throughout. Abby and her husband Brian were excellent hosts who exceeded our expectations.

The cabin was perfect, so clean and brand new. The location was amazing, private but still felt safe and secure. We enjoyed going for walks and looking for shells, it was all so peaceful. The house came with lots of toys and books for our 1 year old and also some items for our dog. Ashley was a great host, provided us with wonderful recommendations that were both baby and dog friendly which made the trip even better. Already miss the place and would love to go back!

Chad responded quickly to a few questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during iur stay! The place is very private and has a great view of the water and surrounding woods. We never noticed the one neighbor on the other side of the trees and it was just a great place to get away from everything! Beds were comfortable and shower was great! Kitchen and A/C were nice and the big TV was nice to have when we settled in for the night. This is a very cool place to escape to and enjoy peace and quiet.

The minors den is a gem, at the end of a dirt road. The construction of the A frame is just so well thought out I had to travel 2 hours just to see it. my teenage daughter and I went for 2 nights. Sienna had thought of everything anyone would need to be comfortable "glamping". we cooked with all the utensils, pots and plates we needed. She even had spices and oil for us to use. this spot is fantastic for staying to day hike the bold coast! or spend a day in acadia. Just perfect! We will be back!
