Waterfront vacation rentals in Washington

I have been looking for a place to stay to visit my son and his family in Georgetown. I’m giving this an overall great because relative to the other two places I have stayed in the same area., this is by far the best, and hopefully I will book it again. We got ccild and they promptly delivered a space heater, and we had trouble accessing hot water in the shower and they promptly told us how to operate it. TV worked well and bed was comfortable. Appreciated the hot pot and coffee maker. Almost no counter space so don’t plan on doing any food prep. No need because there are so many restaurants very nearby

Erika was a responsive and friendly host for a great trip. The apartment is an absolute gem and an amazing deal! The place is very clean and well decorated, and has a beautiful view over the Potomac River where you can watch planes lift off. I was also a fan of the giraffe art. I would highly recommend anyone who needs a place in the DC area to stay here.

Lovely large apartment. Not a basement at all. More of a walk out - it has lots of natural light. Well equipped kitchen. Previous review about common space unfounded. Totally secure. You can use laundry - pretty sweet - which is shared we are biking to C&O canal and it is well located for that! Thank you!

I had an amazing experience staying at Jim’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. Jim was a fantastic host. He was responsive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located Airbnb.

My team an I stayed at the place for 2 weeks for work and let me tell you... it's all about location; we were 3 mins away from the mall we were working on and that was everything. Place was clean and pristine, the only thing is the internet in that area is kind slow but, other than that, couldn't ask for more. Zhenni was extremely helpful, very proactive and quick to response always and I really appreciate that and all her help... if we have to go back to the area, definitely will try to book her place again.

My husband and I stayed with our two middle-school-aged children for a week and found it to work perfectly for our needs. It was an easy walk to the metro, and the noise didn't bother us. We shopped daily at Whole Foods. We had a couple of minor issues that were quickly resolved. I would stay in this location again. The parking is a bit difficult on Mondays and Tuesdays due to the street sweeper rules, but with patience, we found parking.

Had a wonderful stay during our recent conference in Washington. The property was extremely clean and well-maintained. The location was also a big plus, with easy access and a (relatively) short drive to Washington. Our host was responsive and welcoming, providing us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay.

A+++ Host Great location Fun house I misunderstood and thought there were four bedrooms instead of three bedrooms with a ballroom that could be turned into a bedroom but didn’t have a door. Nevertheless, we were wonderfully comfortable and we had a fantastic host.

Master shower was pretty amazing. Got spoiled for a couple days. The manager that texted me was very helpful. When asking advice on traveling to downtown DC he took the time to be helpful. One big plus was all the mattresses had thick memory foam covers and everyone found the beds comfortable. Another plus was the main living room sectional is very large so a few of us could very comfortably watch TV at night. There is a 2nd TV area downstairs that the kids could use.

We had an amazing stay at this charming farmhouse w our young kids and elderly parents! The property was perfect for a relaxing getaway that we all needed. The chickens were a delight, and collecting fresh eggs was a unique experience. I cant tell you how much my kids love it. The pond added a serene touch, and the outdoor movie setup was a fantastic way to end our days. The host Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She is so pleasant to work with and very responsive. She sent us the local recommended restaurant list and we love them all. We did a day trip to Washington DC easily from this location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat! Such an amazing airbnb stay and we will come back.
