Spear Creek Beach House

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great beach property, very quiet, great views from most windows, cracker views when on upper deck (upstairs), lovely verandahs on both west and east sides - needed in that part of the world. Note that one of the bedrooms with queen bed is only accessible via stairs from outside, the other two are in the main house part. It's an older place that has been renovated; great kitchen (reno), lots of utensils, pots etc, cracker fridge, big TVs everywhere.

Beautiful historic cottage with modern touches located within the grounds of the stunning Jacka Brothers Brewery. Lovely view of Mount Remarkable from the kitchen. Very friendly hosts, with great local recommendations. Easy check-in and 30seconds from the biking trails. Can’t wait to return.

Point Lowly Cottages - #1 Lowly

AmyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Lovely historical lighthouse cottage that has been newly renovated with updated bathrooms/kitchen/living. We, and our young child and dog loved our stay. Point lowly is isolated but note there are quite a few visitors during the day for fishing and sightseeing. This is also one of two cottages side by side. The house was impeccably clean with a well equipped kitchen. Parents of young choldre note there is no bath (two showers) and I imagine it could be quite chilly in the bedrooms in winter. There is one oil column heater. and well stocked with quilts and blankets (byo linen though). The close by beaches are mostly rocky. Dog owners note that the outdoor area is not entirely fenced.

Alex's Country House

JacobusRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This majestic old home with its beautiful timber floors, modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms immediately made us feel right at home! The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of heating and/or cooling options available to suit the needs of every discerning visitor. The milk, eggs, bread, cereals and variety of condiments provided confirm the attention to detail in Alex's place! The location is great and only about 150m from the main shopping areas.

Was perfect while we were away working in the area for a couple of weeks. Close to town and amenities and great to have a home away from home, not just a small hotel room.
