Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Enjoy a charming holiday home in picturesque Wijdenes. Discover the tranquillity of the countryside and the charm of historic towns such as Hoorn, Medemblik and Enkhuizen. The perfect base for endless hiking and cycling through, among other things, the beautiful tulip fields and orchards. Sailing and surfing on the IJsselmeer—you can do it all and find it all in West Friesland. Golfing is available 3 km from our accommodation. Amsterdam is 35 km away and easy to reach from Hoorn station.

Wellness Lodge with private sauna and jacuzzi

Our lodge is equipped with all modern amenities, such as a modern kitchen, a smart TV and a Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxurious jacuzzi and wood-burning stove. The lodge, with its large private garden and unobstructed views, is completely separated from the farmhouse by a fence and is accessible only to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast is available upon request.
