Kid-friendly vacation rentals in York County

I booked the house as a place for my family of 6 (4 adult children) and our black lab, to come together for Easter weekend. Since my boys live in Portsmouth we only needed 2 bedrooms and this house made the perfect getaway and place to host dinners. The house was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the enormous fenced in yard all weekend. The host had many yard games which we played and our lab was so happy too. The fire pit was an added bonus for a night of s’more making. We truly had a wonderful time and the house really felt like home. Ps the stairs are fine once you get used to them. Rebecca was responsive and a wonderful host.

We had a great stay in Tara's home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to our favorite towns- Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan. Tara was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We hope to return in the future!

We had a wonderful girl's trip staying in Diana's house! We walked to the beach and to Scratch bakery (twice). The house was perfect for the five of us with a great sitting area to hang out and chat. The house was clean and the instructions for cleaning up were easy to follow.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was in a perfect location; peaceful, private, and still just a short walk to dinner spots, which made everything so easy. There was plenty of space for lounging and gathering, and more than enough bathrooms for everyone (a huge plus!). The house had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. Cozy, quiet, and super comfortable; we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

This was our 4th year staying at Sandy Cove to celebrate Christmas with our entire family. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate overnight stays. We love the 2 dining room tables and refrigerators. We had a small issue with a clog in the kitchen sink. I reached out to Mike and he sent someone over to fix it within a few hours. We hope to stay again next year!

Kristine's house in Hampton was perfect for our off-season January family trip to Hampton for a family funeral. While the weather was single digits, the house was warm and cozy. The house is well-appointed: excellent kitchen and kitchen supplies; great bathroom access for every bedroom; excellent layout, which served us well because I had come down with a cold and was able to isolate in the downstairs bedroom suite and keep some distance from the rest of the family. The main communal living area is very open and inviting -- great seating, gas fireplace, good flow. When one or two people needed a quiet place for work it was easily found, and the wifi was excellent. The North Beach location has been a favorite of ours for several years -- easy access to the beach, just a quick hop down the road to the main Hampton Boardwalk area, and simple and quick access to the main roads (95 and 101), which was important for us because we had a lot of funeral-related logistics to deal with.

We had an excellent stay at Mariella’s place. The cleanliness stood out to us and was much appreciated. Mariella was very accommodating and there for any questions or concerns. We felt right at home. Her home was in great location of a neighborhood for comfort and privacy while also be very convenient and a short ride to downtown Portland. I would recommend her home.

The apartment was just as described by the host, and was very comfortable for a two night stay, for two couples. Excellent, proactive, communication by the host prior to check-in. Very clear instructions. The kitchen was well equipped for breakfast (which is the only meal we ate at the apartment during our stay). A serrated knife would be a nice addition. All of the appliances were very clean, and in good working order. Entry to the building was easy. Be comfortable climbing stairs. Five minute drive, or 15 minute walk to downtown. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely return, and recommended it to others. Thank you for a nice stay, Susan.

Margaret’s place is very homey with all the necessities for a family gathering. The neighborhood is beautiful and close to beautiful trails

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Rudolph’s place! Rudolph was very responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time in Portland. He let us use his grill and even loaned us some chairs for a backyard BBQ. Free parking was a nice bonus. The apartment is walking distance from Eastern Promenade which was great. My family loved going for walks by the ocean every day of our stay. We plan on staying here next time we’re in Portland.

Ian's place was great for a girls trip ti Portland. He was a great communicator if I had any questions or cleaning instructions. Will definitely stay again for any future trips to Portland.

This apartment is simply perfect! I felt comfortable and safe and loved waking up to the beauty of the space, the kitchen has all new appliances and the colors and craftsmanship are impressive. There was plenty of room throughout and the bed is very comfortable. Thank you Rick! I would definitely stay at your apartment again. I also highly recommend this place because of the great, central location.

We felt right at home in this gem of a 2 bedroom. We parked our car and didn't get back in until our stay was over. Comfy beds. Bright private apt. Very peaceful, yet close to everything! I highly recommend staying here!

Very well located apartment, with large living room and bed room, small kitchen and tiny bathroom. Communication with Sharon was easy and responsive.

I had been staying here for 2 weeks and extended for another week. Again, just a great stay with very communicative hosts.

If you're looking for a little bit of peace and quiet, a decent meal or a drink on the beach, and to fall asleep to the sounds of waves calmly crashing than this is the place for you! Let's start with the host Sameer. Very clear and concise with visit guidelines and very quick to respond to any messages. Fantastic. The condo itself is spotless and pretty much has everything you need whether it's coffee in the morning or cookware for an afternoon dinner. Now haven't been to the Brunswick quite a bit I do know the music and crowds in the summer can be a bit much, but being able to easily go upstairs to this condo that is on the opposite side of the band I'm sure is a nice way to end your day with having the opportunity to sit on the deck to listen to the music or close the doors and relax. Can't say enough good things about this place!!

This is the perfect place! Everything is very clean, and nothing missing! Kevin is very nice. He was good tips. I've always dreamed of coming to OOB in the winter and really enjoyed the experience! Loved our stay. With its location and double patios, the views are splendid! For lovers of the sound of the waves, the view of the sea, sunrises, long walks to the beach… this is the place!

Great place to stay with an awesome view of the beach right from the balcony. This is where every morning we would have our coffee to plan out our day and every evening sit back with a glass of wine and watch the moon rise over the ocean. The accommodations were good, the place was clean and had all the things to make our stay enjoyable. We would stay here again as well as recommend it to friends and family.

Had a wonderful stay at Christophers place. He is a great host, always responsive with clear instructions. Place was peaceful, private and is exactly same as it was in the pictures. Will come soon!

The condo was very clean, tasteful decorated. Beds were comfortable. Loved the big table to play games and the living room was cozy for the evening and morning chats. Pretty views.

Dave was a very responsive host and his property was exactly what he described. The location was very good to visit downtown Portland. At last, we loved the bakery right in front!

We had a wonderful two-week stay at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful and quiet at night, yet just a short walk across the bridge to all the dining and shopping in Portsmouth. The amazing views of the river and Portsmouth from most rooms across the water were a highlight. The accommodations were very comfortable, which was especially important for me as I was five months pregnant during our stay. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept well. Overall great family friendly AirBnB. The lack of stair and private parking made it easier with our toddler than previous places we have stayed in the area. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and we had zero issues throughout our stay. We would absolutely book this Airbnb again the next time we visit the area. Highly recommend!
