Beautiful hidden gem in the historic area of Merida. Our favorite hangout spot was the atrium since it was so peaceful . Everything was clean which is always welcome especially with a young family. Great restaurants and museums are close by. Definitely recommended.

Mike and Rene’s home is truly gorgeous and everything you need for a relaxing stay- enormous kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and deck, beautiful and well kept pool. The beach is across the street and the sidewalks make going for a stroll easy. Highly recommend.

Nelson was very easy to work with and made checking in and out very easy! The Condo was just what we needed, and exactly as described. It was very clean and just a hop and a skip from the beautiful beach. The pool area was very relaxing and clean. Google maps didn't take us to the right place ( it was a couple hundred feet away) but we found it without much difficulty. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

We really liked the stay in the apartment, everything was very clean, it felt safe and comfortable, the only thing we would add would be a TV in the room, everything else was very good :)

Carlos and Ethel were fantastic hosts. We stayed at Casita Azul for 2 weeks in March with our 3 kids. Ethel went out and bought a pack n play for our youngest to sleep in and everything was very clean and fantastic when we arrived. The location is amazing, we spent so much time on the front balcony staring at the ocean when we needed a shade break. We were close to the town and fantastic restaurants but far enough away that it was super quiet. The wine bar next door was never a problem- it was quiet and you wouldn’t even know it was there. We explored Seashell beach over by the boat marina- that was a highlight and definitely recommend going there- we have never seen that many shells….. just endless seashells everywhere! Thank you for the wonderful stay Carlos and Ethel- they changed our sheets and towels twice and replenished soaps and toilet paper as needed. casita Azul is a very basic and simple home but it has everything you need and is an excellent location! Highly recommend

Loved this place and agree with other reviews that the pictures don’t do it justice. Ocean was beautiful, the kids loved the pool, house was great. Location made for a great location for going on other adventures, would love to come back.

The accommodation is even nicer in person than in the pictures. It has an incredible view, it is spacious and the location 10/10 for people looking to tourist the most popular places in the area. I would definitely host again without any hesitation.
