Vacation rentals with lake access in Zambezi River

The place was very homely and private. Pagungwa was exactly as described and very spacious. We enjoyed every moment and even struggled to leave the house. Fadwick and Sidwell were accommodating and took very good care of us and our needs. Totally worth it

We absolutely adored this place! The landscape provided a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing. One of our favorite activities was going for walks along the fields to see the sunsets and waking up early to see the sunrises. We also spent a lot of time by the pool, which was very nice! Mandy, Rowland, and Pablo was incredibly kind to us, providing everything we needed as well as showing us their farm and their production. The food prepared by the cook Stanford never disappointed and we were all in all extremely satisfied with our stay! We payed to participate in a cooking class which was interesting and the food turned out very tasteful. We did expect that we would be cooking with the chef, when in reality we only observed him. However, we learned a lot from this and it was a good experience. We were five women in our early twenties staying here for three nights, and we highly recommend this place both to other friend groups, families, and couples of every age!

Located just steps from the tranquil lake, this spot offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the amenities were not bad. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed staying in the beautiful home and loved how spacious and clean the place was. Beautiful scenery, the only suggestion I can make is to make arrangements for a pool as Kariba is a hot place and my family wld have appreciated some way of cooking is down and having fun. The AC in the house makes it so much better in doors, really appreciated . The caretaker and his team were excellent.

Had the whole place with my kids and had a great time. Directions were so easy to follow. The place is so peaceful and with a beautiful sunset on the lake.

Beautiful large villa massive lounge and generous size bedrooms. The place was absolutely beautiful and the whole family loved it. The grounds were beautiful. Also had resident chef on hand to prepare meals which came in handy. I highly recommend this place to any families visiting Kariba and would stay again We had a wonderful time staying here.

Had a great stay at the cottage with my family. Very clean and beautiful place, we enjoyed the privacy, and peacefulness. Ian was very prompt to responding. Edward and Robert helped with cooking which made our stay even more relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing thoughtful touches and local tips that made our trip memorable. The space was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great host, in a good location. Easy to communicate with and happy to help with any issues to resolve quickly.

The vacation was a dream - Robson the caretaker made it even more magical. I however wish the caretakers were treated better by owners in that area in general as they make the entire stay so much MUCH better. A tiny walk around the area shows how the workers live in conditions I wouldn’t let my dog live in. This is a comment for ALL the home owners there …. Do better. I would book again with Tendai but it’s 2025. Let us not treat workers like slaves .. it’s off putting when we are spending a lot of money & depend on staff.

We loved our stay. We were three families with four children total and there was more than enough space to be both quiet and loud. Peter and Rosemary took good care of us and Rosemary’s cooking is some of the best we’ve had in Zimbabwe. If you’re looking for a relaxed getaway, don’t hesitate. P.S. find the Nehwa go go and buy fresh eggs and milk very morning!

Safe to say that this place is an absolute gem of place to stay and has made it to the top of my list of homes to stay in connemara. From the comfortable beds with heated blankets and a fireplace in the main bedroom, the luxurious wood-fired outdoor hot tub, and heated floors in the bathrooms (game changer), and large entertaining area, this place is well worth the money. The house is mere steps from the middle dam where there are beautiful hikes around the dam, 2 x fly fishing licenses that come included (just bring own rods) and 2 boats. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Chipo the caretaker was very helpful, cleaning up, making fires indoors and outdoors for the hot tub every day, she made our stay very easy. We will bring friends or family next time for sure!

The place was beautiful quiet and serene. The onsite host Tonde was very helpful and an excellent communicator. He made our stay pleasurable. Will definitely book again.

A great, quiet spot, a bit off the beaten path. Lots of space - 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, dining room, living room, amazing garden. Kitchen is sparse so bring your own salt, oil, etc - but they had the utensils and appliances we needed. Anwar was a great communicator, and Edith kept the place very clean! Garden was magnificent with unparalleled access to the beach.
