Our priority for our short stay in (very loud) Taipei was to find a place where we would be able to recharge after a day of sightseeing, get away from the noise, and sleep well at night. Zev's apartment was a great fit for us. It's located in a side street with less traffic. The apartment has great noise-proof windows. It also has blackout curtains that make it pitch black at night. We didn't hear any neighbors apart from people walking down the hallway on the same floor. The apartment is very tiny - tinier that we expected but for a short 3-day stay it was fine. The bathroom is also small but with sufficient space to lay out all your stuff by the sink as well as take a comfortable shower in the cabin. The entire building is new. So new in fact that it wasn't fully finished inside. But we didn't hear any construction noise. It was nice to stay in a modern building in a modern apartment. Apart from not getting the Wi-Fi password the first day, communication with the host was fine.

I stayed with my husband and two kids. We had a great stay! Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating, especially when one piece of luggage was delayed from the airport. The hosts talked to the airline and arranged for the suitcase to be delivered to them and then brought it to our AirBnB so we didn’t have to stay in and wait. They provided a high chair and a crib for our baby and the place was very clean and comfortable. The location was incredibly convenient to the MRT, restaurants, cafes, a Family Mart, and the bakery downstairs has some of the best bread around. Because it’s on a main street, you can hear road noises. However, it did not disrupt anybody’s rest. If you are a light sleeper, a white noise maker might help. They were great and prompt at communicating and very flexible with check in and check out. A great stay in a convenient location!

The host is really super nice and kind!The friends of the group said that the decor was not only cozy, nice and comfortable, whether it was the living room, the room, or the bathroom was clean, the kitchen also had utensils and refrigerator to use, the equipment and supplies needed were all the amenities and supplies, it was really convenient.And the space is not very small, we have 7 people, and the room is not crowded to stay, the sound insulation of the room is also very good, someone sleeps early and is not noisy, the house is in a very quiet community, the parking space is also easy to find, it is not far from the business circle near Zhongshan MRT station, the location is very good. It was a last minute change of check in time on the day, the host was quick to respond to fix our issues, at check out we delayed our check out, felt sorry for not leaving on time but the host didn't rush us either, but instead had patience to sort out what was on our table asking if we still needed and helped to pack up, and welcomed us again before leaving the opportunity to welcome us again, the overall stay was absolutely perfect, it was a pity to only stay one night, highly recommended🥰

definitely recommend! very clean & updated. safe area, easy access to trains & buses, and right outside of local food & markets. absolutely loved that!
