Kid-friendly vacation rentals in A dos Cunhados

Candida was lovely and at check in, gave up local knowledge and tour of house, which was clean and very functional. They had a hair dryer, nice when traveling to not need your own or worry with voltage and a small space heater which was nice for our unusually cold days. There's two bedrooms, one with a comfortable bed (not too firm or too soft) and one that was a bit thinner and softer, so you have options! There was an induction stove top and microwave with a convection feature, good for warming things though probably not good for baking. The only con was unfortunately the towels and sheets are washed in a strongly scented detergent-common for Portugal but still bothersome. The location has great parking very close and free and is in a lovely neighborhood.

Very nice dwelling in a peaceful village. We were warmly welcomed by Iolanda's grandmother. Iolanda was very responsive and was able to accommodate us for check-in and checkout. I recommend it!

Lia's place is a tiny apartment with a separate entrance. The apartment is part of her house. There are a lot of common areas available for guests to use. I really liked sitting on veranda. The apartment is decorated with great taste. All appliances worked for me. I cooked there about 1 meal every second day. Lia was kind to provide me with a large sauce pan so that I can make my favorite soup.

The house was in a perfect location Just outside the wall and close to awesome places to eat and shop. It was raining when we arrived and we’re we’re cold, Hugo went out of his way to bring us more firewood and made sure our stay was comfortable. Beds were comfy too!!!

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

The stay at Carlos's apartment was excellent. Local corresponded exactly as in the pictures, very equipped, clean, comfortable. Carlos's care at check-in and throughout the stay was flawless. Very helpful and quick to respond. Very easy transport for all the sights of Lisbon. For sure, on the next trip, we will stay in the apartment again. We really felt at home.

Staying in this flat was such a pleasure. It overlooks this beautiful square with an ancient statue. There’s a Juliet balcony running the length of the living room overlooking the square. A wonderful spot to take in a view of the river. The apartment is tastefully decorated and well laid out. The place has an old world charm with rich detailing. The bedroom was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything and I loved being able to have a French Press of coffee in the morning. Miguel checked me in and gave a detailed tour of the flat and welcomed me with a bottle of wine. I was very happy to be able to do laundry before leaving. Thanks again for a great visit.

Just finished 4 nights at this Air BNB. Would highly recommend. Host was helpful from time of booking. Very comfortable for 4 adults and a 2 yr old. Well stocked kitchen, close to metro and grocery store. Treats in the kitchen upon arrival was such a nice touch!

Guilherme pays attention to fine detail including going beyond expectation by noting times of arrival to have appropriate food, drink available for guests. Very available and responsive to all questions. Excellent host. Property was comfortable, clean and had everything we wanted. Definitely recommend.

The property is great for exploring Lisbon. You can quickly get to the city or Cascais by train, which runs very regularly. Check-in is self-contained. Ana is always available and sends a lot of information and tips. The apartment has everything you need. We felt comfortable and are happy to recommend it.

The apartment is nice, cozy and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. António was very quick to respond to our request. The location is very central, there are restaurants, shops, cafes and everything is within walking distance. Bus and tram are also close.

Laura's place is really personalized and has great decor. We loved the quiet but walkable neighborhood and the friendly market down the street. Check-in was easy and we had everything we needed. The kid's room was amazing! We would highly recommend.

Great family apartment with everything you need for a longer stay. There are heaters in every room, so the apartment can be heated during colder months. CD collection, TV and toys are excellent for rainy days. Great choice of local and international cafes and restaurants nearby, plus grocery stores and a playground. Nearby bus stops and metro stations give you options to go anywhere. Friendly host to help with everything.

Very spacious flat, we were positively surprised! The location was as expected, a bit far from some sightseeing places (so better with a car), but also enough stuff to do in Parque das Nações area.

So happy with this stay! At the quieter end of town, but still easy walking distance to everything in lower part of city. We had a rental car and would drive up to Sitio and to the point to see Praia de Norte. Easy parking on the street beside the building, and also secure parking in garage. Great view of Nazare beach right from the terrace— i loved sipping my coffee and watching the people on the boardwalk and listening to the waves crashing on the shore each morning. Sunsets were spectacular! Very secure, private and clean, and we had everything we needed.

We enjoyed a great week in Rafa’s apartment. We travelled with our daughter (1) and the apartment was perfect for our family, with a cot and high chair provided. The apartment was clean and spacious. Rafa was a great host, very friendly and full of local knowledge. Thank you Rafa for resolving the small external issue with the wifi! We would recommend for couples and for families.

A great apartment in a wonderful location. It had what we needed and Joana was super responsive. There was even a sharp knife in the kitchen which never happens!
