After being a host in Oslo since 2011, I have renovated this cabin far up north where I was born, and my family still live. With loads of Scandinavian design objects, it also comes equipt with everything you might need or didn't know you needed to make your stay epic! 2 bikes, 2 fishing rods and fancy coffee gear is also free for you to use. The location is in the middle of the local village, and the view and space are spectacular. Enjoy the midnight sun and northern lights in this modern cabin.

Bed linen/towels included 45 min drive from Harstad/airport. Minimarket/gas station nearby. Location between Tromsø and Lofoten Rich wildlife in the area, opportunities to see moose, otters, white-tailed eagles, whales, reindeer, etc. Pier can be used, possibility of using kayaks (weather permitting). No smoking/parties

Nydelig hytte i et fredelig område. Fantastisk utsikt over Rostadvannet, fra stuevindu nesten på stranda. Ferske egg kan kjøpes hos naboen. Beautiful cottage in a quiet area. Stunning view, Rosta lake in front and Rosta mountain behind the cottage. Northern ligths just outside the cottage. Close to Dividalen nationalpark with lots of places to walk in the nature, both summer and winter. A perfect place for relaxation and good experience in nature. Pets allowed, except cats and rabbits.

New Joker shop nearby, several hiking trails, heveitemuseum, national park, inland and sea fishing, boat rental nearby. 2 hours by car from Bardufoss Airport. 1 hour drive to Finnsnes. 1 hour by fast boat to Harstad. 3 mattresses upstairs in the loft in addition to the two bedrooms. Small cozy cottage in the woods by a lake. 4 beds. 14 km from Kiruna C. 10 km to Ice hotel. Perfect to see midnight sun in summer and northern lights in winter. Peace and relaxation. Nice sauna can be rented for 600 sek - needs to be booked at least one day in advance. Takes 4-6 hours to heat. Own car or rental car is required. Or transport by taxi. No bus connection available. Nearest grocery store is in Kiruna C (15 km) or in Jukkasjärvi (10 km).

The “Helge Ingstad”Cabin has been decorated and set-up with ever attention to detail to make your evenings with us comfortable and relaxed. Lovingly furnished with drift wood and natural materials the cabins accommodate five to six people. We have a sauna near the river (additional for 450NOK). Our three cozy log cabins „Helge Ingstad Hytte“, „Eivind Astrup Hytte” and "Wanny Woldstad Hytte" are all to rent on Airbnb.
