Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Adirondack Mountains

This is my favorite place to stay in my 21-day trip to eastern Canada. The accommodation is very private and quiet. The environment is quiet and beautiful. If I come to Thousand Island Lake again next time, this is definitely my only choice.

Meredith, the manager, was spectacular. She was a warm and welcoming host who took the time to make us feel at home with breakfast and good conversation. I recommend the Inn to every person passing through Blue Mountain Lake. You will not be disappointed!

Susan is a wonderful host and a very lovely person! We had a very nice time staying at Susan's place! It was very warmly feeling to get a delicious breakfast made by Susan, and we especially loved the apple cobbler made by Susan. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality :). Absolutely amazing place to stay for a ski weekend at Sugarbush! Super comfortable beds, clean space, and great breakfast for a nice extra touch. Felt like home sitting by the fire after a long ski day! We will definitely be back.

5 of us stayed at David's place for our family ski vacation and all of us loved the location and the house. the house was as described and has so many linens and amenities. it's 30 minutes to Stratton Ski Report and 5 minutes to downtown Manchester where you can find anything, including Shaws supermarket. It's a great location and house and we are looking forward to come back to this place next year for our family vacation. Thanks

Enjoy a wonderful, quiet, restful stay here. The place was exactly as advertised, and was clean, welcoming, and delightfully cozy. Anytime I had a question, the hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!

Leo and Michelle were very responsive with any questions we had, and even reached out to offer us an early check in. The location was close enough to our places of interest, while still being slightly rural. The place looked just like the pictures and we felt right at home. We will stay there again when we return!

Best value! Very nicely uniquely decorated lovely house with many interesting antique Ray collected . Clean and comfortable. Host Ray is the nicely host I ever had. Not only he got up very early to prepare delicious breakfast for my family when I had to leave the place early to catch a skiing lesson at Okemo, he also prepared the pit fire for us after he saw my daughter trying to pick up items for s'more making when we ran into each other coincidentally at the nearby grocery store. I will highly recommend Ray's unit for anyone who visit the area. Thanks Ray for your top notch hospitality!!

This place is magical. Feather beds, beautiful grounds, perfect location in one of the best places in VT. Mick and Karen are kind, thoughtful, and incredible hosts. Each morning, they cook out of this world breakfasts. The breakfasts stand out on their own—creative, rich, filling. Our carriage house was charming, spotless, and easy with a 3 year old. The location here can’t be beat; you have easy access to Warren and Waitsfield. This was a fantastic place to stay and I hope to return.

Carin and Luke’s bed and breakfast is a beautiful getaway. The grounds are gorgeous and so peaceful. Both Carin and Luke were so kind and helpful and breakfast was delicious. They also have a lovely assortment of tea so I spent the rainy evenings I was there sipping on a hot cup of tea on the covered front porch overlooking the gardens and pond. Thank you for such an amazing stay!

We came to Vermont to look at the beautiful fall colors and for a Vermont experience. Staying in a stately house that originates from the 1700’s gave us both. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs sitting area is elegant with plenty of room to spread out read like a country squire. Mary makes an excellent breakfast and is accommodating about when and what to eat. Be sure to try the apple pancakes. Manchester with all its fine restaurants is 15 minutes away. Otherwise, the Wayside Country store is right down the road. The view out the back of the house is outstanding. We highly recommend this house for a Vermont getaway.

Our stay in Clayton was fantastic. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and reasonable and located perfectly in town. Easy walking distance to all that the town has to offer and a great historic BnB to stay in. Our host Steven was polite, helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Marshas BNB and had a fantastic time for the Great Eclipse on 4/8/24! Her property was expansive, the BNB had so many different sitting areas, dens and living rooms to choose from. She provided a delicious and hearty breakfast each morning. She was so helpful when we asked to provide recommendations of things to do and places to go in the area. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The house was SO CLEAN. Squeaky clean. We had the king size room with private bathroom and the bathroom was GIGANTIC. Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back.

The house was lovely and John was very responsive to my texts. When we arrived, the caretaker, Raphael, was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, and he was kind enough to bring us water and coffee while we sat in the parlor. The tub in the grey room was amazing an the walk around the property was nice also. 10/10 will recommend!

This was our fourth stay at Nancy’s. She always helps us feel comfortable and she usually offers us tea and a treat when we arrive. Her breakfast included blueberry lavender scones and granola and also an omelet with coffee. She has written a cookbook and her food is always delicious. The bed is comfortable and this time I enjoyed a walk around the property. It could not be a more peaceful place.

Kathleen was a pleasure to work with and spend time with. We were there in “off season” and we enjoyed having her spend time with us at breakfasts. They were doing some upgrades to the house but it did not affect our stay at all. It will be really nice when it is completed soon.

What a beautiful space! Such an easy spot to put our trailer ! The grass was pristine and so clean ! No dirt in our trailer at all . The hosts were so kind and friendly . We shared the space with their bunkie and we could barely tell they were there ! They have both spots positioned in a way where it still feels very private ! The boat was free to use and we had a nice sunset ride followed by a lovely campfire with a great view Of the lake !

Marikate and her husband were fantastic hosts - we felt welcome and taken care of the moment we arrived. The accommodations are as described…the environment is tranquil and relaxed. The house is very close to Saratoga Springs’ main drag where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to explore. Strongly recommend!

Our stay with Priscilla in the farmhouse was wonderful. The room we stayed in was very spacious with a big bed and several very comfy chairs. Priscilla greeted us in a very friendly manner and showed us all around and gave us recommendations for dinner. She was available to us for whatever we needed. We had two incredible breakfasts during our stay. Her avocado toast, which she was trying for the first time, was the best that I have had! On day number two we had delicious chicken sausage and blueberry pancakes, along with fresh fruit and orange juice and coffee. Once again, delicious. I grew up in a rural area so staying at this farmhouse on a rural road brought back many memories for me. The peace and the quiet was incredible….. And yet… You don’t have to go far to get to major roads or delicious food. On our last night, we went to Stacy‘s Scratch Kitchen in Broad Albin. Don’t miss this one! We gave it an 11 out of 10. 😊 Thank you, Priscilla, for everything!

Catalpa House is exactly what you want in a small town retreat; comfortable bedding, well chosen amenities, superb breakfast, accommodating but not intrusive hosts, lovely common areas with local literature and current periodicals. It doesn't get better.

Claire and Matt’s place was incredible. We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming, cozy place to stay (especially coming in from the winter cold). The cabin is beautifully renovated, perfectly balancing modern comforts with original charm. Breakfast was divine, offered in a dining area adjacent to the private space where we got to meet their friendly Great Dane, Fortuna. Our only regret was not requesting the three course dinner— next time! :)
