“Excellent simple home, a fine example of how traditional homes in greek villages were in the past. And this experience is what we came for. Much better for us than a luxus vacation home. The home of Nikos was very very clean, spacious, with new comfortable mattresses and all this for a great price. Nikos is very hospitable and polite. He helped us with everything we needed. All in all a great stay! Hope we visit him again soon”
“We had an amazing stay at the lake house! Beautiful place and friendly people to deal with. Vangelis and her mother were very welcoming and helpful. The place looks exactly like the photos and the property is relaxing, peaceful and very beautiful! The small village "Mikrolimni" is the perfect point to explore "Prespes". We would love to return to the lake house and explore more of the area!”
Dora’s House is a two-storey traditional home, in Agios Germanos. It was built in 1930 with stone and brick. It has been recently refurbished retaining its traditional character. Located in the public square of the village at an altitude of 1050m. An ideal destination for vacations during the summer and winter in the Prespes Municipality. 8km from the Prespes lakes and lies 50 km from Florina, and Kastoria.
“We had a really great time in Agios Germanos which was, to a large part, thanks to Dora and Elefteris. They are truly wonderful people and very attentive hosts who made sure we had everything we possibly needed and more, spoiling us with Greek coffee and homemade cake. They were extremely helpful with any questions we had about the Prespa area and even called a bus company for us, to find out about their schedule (the area is rather remote). The super spacious apartment you'll be renting is the top floor of their beautiful stone house in the centre of the village. We were there in summer and it was nice and cool inside the house, but there's a big fire place in the living room that probably makes it nice and cosy in winter, too. The village is so quiet at night and the beds are so comfortable, we slept like babies. From the balcony, you have a wonderful view of the Prespan lakes in the distance, it's just perfect for a sundowner! The kitchen is downstairs in the hosts' part of the house, but that wasn't a problem at all. If you're going to the Prespa area, this is definitely a great place to stay, and you'll be sure to experience Greek hospitality at its best!”
