Bathing area can also be found close to the cabin. Car road all the way to the cabin during summer time. In winter time it is about 3 km from parking to the cabin. Stylish and cozy funkish cottage built in 2019. The cottage is located right by the Hallingdalselva river,just 2 km from the center of Ål. High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around, you can pick and choose from amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in the summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

Experience nature and a simple life. There are no cars, no facilities, and no other people close by. Outhouse, wood burning, a simple kitchen with gas for cooking. Newly built cabin at Torpoåsen in Hallingdal is rented out when we do not use it ourselves. Located in the middle of the mountains at Ål and in Hemsedal. Driveable road all the way up to the cabin from June to November. In winter you have to go skiing 1 km. in flat, prepared terrain, or rent scooter transport into the cabin (we arrange a ride). Cabin of 800 meters above sea level in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views in the village and the mountains. Hiking - and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, bikes - and hiking trails. It is only 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you see Reineskarvet and Hallingkarvet. The cabin is by itself and it goes all the way. Located at 930 meters above sea level, ski conditions are secured in the winter time, but also plenty of activity and swimming opportunities in the summer. Well arranged for families with kids of all ages. Winter breeze up to the cabin, and ski in ski out (cross country).

Hytta er beliggende «midt i» flott turterreng hvor du har ski inn/ut til et stort preparert løypenett på langrenn, i tillegg til 20 min avstand til skisenter. Stor solrik terrasse med nedfelt jacuzzi hvor du kan nyte solen hele dagen.
