Soludden Eckerö – Sauna with a sunset by the sea

Cozy little cottage with an open-plan layout, kitchenette, gas stove, microwave and fridge. Option to have breakfast indoors. A small sleeping alcove with a double bed and a separate sauna. There are two decks, the one on the west side 20 metres from the water, with a dining table for 6 people and an incredible view of the open sea and the horizon. There is also an outdoor sink on the east-side deck, as well as a gas grill. A dry toilet right outside the sauna, as well as a separate, newly built shower and laundry room, and a composting toilet a short distance away.

Gläntan in Eckerö

Cozy little cabin out in Eckerö in Åland's countryside. With wood-fired sauna. About 30 minutes from Mariehamn, 5 minutes from Eckerö Linjen in Berghamn, nearby is Eckerö hallen, käringsundsbyn and Gastropub Bodegan as well as a wildlife safari and bus stop. The cottage is 1 and 1/2 floors, i.e. sleeping loft, open floor plan, i.e. no bedroom doors. Final cleaning is not included in the price, which means that the cottage must be cleaned before you check out. Fur allergy sufferers are recommended to find another accommodation as pets are welcome here.

Idyllic 19th-century cottage with its own garden

Enter the restored 19th century croft with an amazing history! Here you travel back in time, where at the same time you live comfortably with both electricity, water and heating. You live within walking distance to the grocery store, post office and public beach and have a bus stop opposite the house. Log cabin with beautiful views of Färjsundet

Our cozy log cabin is located on the beach with beautiful views of Färjsundet. The cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, fireplace and air heat pump. There is one double bedroom, one loft with two single mattresses and one sofa bed. The dock is down by the beach, which is suitable for swimming and has a boat dock. Fishing permit can be bought in Godby. The cottage is only 2 km from Godby center, about 16 km from Mariehamn and 9 km from the golf course.

From the living room/kitchen and balcony, you have a nice view of Kalmarviken, it is 75 meters to the swimming jetty and the wood-fired sauna is in the yard behind the greenhouse. It offers a beautiful lake view and a freestanding wood-fired sauna. During the summer you can see grazing animals in the surroundings. Åland, Sund charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage (Fridhem), which was originally a bakery, was moved from a small village to its current location in the 1950s, when it was also rebuilt into the current house. The cottage is located on highway 2, in between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, about 5 km in each direction. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. There are bike paths nearby, beautiful forest roads as well. See my guide for tips.
