Monthly Rentals in Albas

This is our second trip to the Spot and we are blown away again! This cabin is very spacious, with all the amenities provided inside and outside. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, as well as the fully stocked kitchen. We didn’t have to bring a lot of stuff as there was all the necessities provided.

Andrew was one of the most genuine and thoughtful hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we booked, he made sure everything was seamless. Even though we were running behind schedule, he patiently waited and arranged for someone to greet us as soon as we arrived, making it easy to find the place. He was incredibly kind and understanding, offering us a late checkout until 4 PM, which we truly appreciated. Andrew’s warm, humble nature instantly made us feel welcome. As a beautiful surprise, he treated us to freshly baked homemade hot cross buns with icing — absolutely delicious! He also provided fresh milk and yogurt, and the Airbnb was stocked with honey from their own farm — such thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our experience truly unforgettable. Andrew went above and beyond, and we highly recommend staying with him — you’ll be in amazing hands!

Fantastic communication and recommendations. We had a lovely time in the cabin, enjoyed the scenery, coffees on the porch, some good chats, and of course scratches and belly rubs with Nikita.

Vreny and Ruedi have created a beautiful oasis in the wilderness. The cabin is a perfect spot to sit back, relax and listen to birds chirping, the distant sound of passing trains and of course if you're lucky the two beautiful and friendly dogs will come join for a quick hello while you soak the nature in! All of this while being five minutes away from local grocery shops, grocery stores, restaurants and the lake. Vreny and Ruedi are fantastic hosts, they are kind, friendly and make you feel right at home! If you're looking for a tranquil place to disconnect from the world, yet be 5 minutes away from Tim Hortons for a coffee, then this is your place!
