It features a darling kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and toaster/convection oven. (No stove top, no oven.) You'll enjoy birdsong and views of various wildlife. A quiet, restful place to stay when you want to be near Shenandoah Nat’l Park, UVA, Charlottesville, Virginia wineries, Monticello, Montpelier, CHO, and other close-by attractions.

Kick back and relax in this cozy cottage nestled on a historic 400-acre Blue Ridge Mountain farm abutting Shenandoah National Park. Every space inside this cozy cottage is creatively styled, with tons of perfectly imperfect charm. Outside, a hammock beneath the elm trees, fire pit and grill, all allow for enjoying the splendor of this peaceful enclave. Excellent day-tripping to many of central Virginia's celebrated wineries and breweries, as well as scenic drives and hiking trails.

Shepherdess Cottage

Charming cottage located in Scottsville, Virginia on a 93 acre sheep farm. It is located 19 miles from Charlottesville. The Shepherdess Cottage is tiny, relatively private and offers beautiful views. We are a working farm so you may encounter us, but will respect your privacy as much as we can. You are welcome to "free range" with our sheep and enjoy exploring the property. Sometimes our lambing season (pretty much year-round) will offer bottle babies that you can feed and cuddle.

Honey B (Honey House 2) Newly renovated near UVA

Recently renovated, clean and comfortable with many amenities. Honey B has a lofty feel with the footprint of a small house. High ceilings and several skylights allow for light and privacy in the quiet neighborhood of Sherwood Farms. Located on the southwest side of Charlottesville, just 7 minutes to Scott Stadium, UVA campus, and restaurants, 10 minutes minus plus to historic downtown mall, Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and central to many major wineries and breweries.

Modern Cottage near Charlottesville

Bright and open studio space that sits on a 2.5 acre parcel and is about 150 feet away from the main house where we live. It is less than 10 minutes to the airport and under 30 minutes to downtown. The space features a kitchenette, one full bath and an open lofted bedroom space (queen size bed) upstairs. The twin beds are located on the main floor. We can only allow a maximum of 2 cars due to limited space on the property. Use of candles or fire stove is not permitted.

Our cozy treehouse offers a one-of-a-kind accommodation, perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. The elevated deck provides breathtaking views of the surrounding woods, creating a magical setting for your stay. Inside, the treehouse is thoughtfully designed with rustic charm and modern comforts. The treehouse is equipped with a small kitchenette, allowing you to prepare simple meals and snacks. The bathroom, though compact, offers all the essentials.

Convenient Rustic Cabin near Wineries

I’m located 6 miles from Scottsville, 15 miles from Charlottesville, 25-30 minute drive. A pasture of cattle is not too far away you can hear the mooing at times and see sightings of deer quite often. It’s a private and quiet location. Two large rivers, James and Rivanna offer recreational activities. Rustic cabin, country located. Clean and cozy with a well stocked kitchen with all your cooking needs. Escape to our guesthouse on a little farmette. This peaceful setting tucked away on several acres along a creek with nature trails is the perfect mountain getaway. We are conveniently situated near quaint wineries, breweries along with hiking and the Blue Ridge Parkway that is a short hop, jump and a skip away. Every effort has been made to keep this a green haven, chemical and synthetic scent free, so you can leave recharged and rested. Non-smoking

Hawkwood House King Bedroom

Hawkwood House is close to Charlottesville, VA. It is in a 100-acre wood. Two guests share downstairs bedroom. Guests may use upper floor only with prior arrangements. It is a very quiet, peaceful setting. It is located near historic sites from colonial times of the United States and the Civil War and near Charlottesville VA and homes to three early US presidents (Monticello, Ash Lawn and Montpelier).
