Family-friendly vacation rentals in Alma

My wife and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. We had a great time. The location is beautiful, we watched seals sunning themselves on the rocks from the hot tub and the sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. The house was very clean and the furniture was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here if you are heading to the Moncton/Shediac area.

I stayed at Jamie's with my husband, mother and teenagers. It was great to be so close to the ski hill, everyone enjoyed the hot tub, there was space for everyone and all our food and ski gear. We are repeat customers, and hopefully we can keep coming back!

great place, easy access to snowmobile trails, beautiful sunset view from the hot tub, Corey was a great host very easy communicating with him. would recommend to anyone who loves the woods and outdoors!

The pictures do not do this little gem justice. Beautiful cottage perfect for a romantic getaway or small family. Really enjoyed all of the walking trails and especially the boardwalk to the beach. Lisa is n amazing host. Quick to respond with any questions. Loved the fact that we could rent for a single night. The hot tub was perfect, private and the perfect temperature. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent séjour, la présence de deux chambres au premier étage et d’une chambre au deuxième étage était excellent pour deux couples dont un avec un bébé. Près des épiceries et des restaurants, tout se fait à pied. Le chalet est tres spacieux, la cuisine bien équipée.

Excellent séjour en famille. Le logement est parfait et les hôtes charmants. Je recommande. Superbe emplacement entre Bouctouche et Shédiac.

We absolutely loved our Thankgiving weekend at this cozy cottage. The fire was going when we arrived which was a lovley touch on a cold day. The view and the beach were beautiful, the cottage had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. Thank you for sharing your lovley spot with us. We would love to return!!!

We booked this place last minute for a wedding band on a long weekend and Catherine and Daniel were so accommodating letting us house them in this home. They felt so comfortable being in this big, private space with everything so nearby. The place was perfect and could not have asked for better hosts. They highly recommend!!

Thank you Michelle for letting us stay in your beautiful place in Shediac! It was exactly as described and pictures, and more well stocked than any AirBnB I’ve ever been to. Michelle was so helpful before and during our stay, providing places to go, restaurants according to our tastes, and even an offer of a local babysitter should we want to go out without kiddos! Beds were comfy, cottage was beautiful and private, right on the water, as advertised. Kids loved searching for crabs on the beach and canoeing, although beach is better for boating and running around than swimming. Scenery is beautiful, campfire well stocked and well set up. Lots of BBQ tools available. Home is. 5min drive to downtown Shediac with lots of cute restaurants, and Shediac is within a reasonable drive to lots of lovely places (Hopewell Rocks, PEI, La Dune de Bouctouche, Parlee Beach, Moncton with the tidal bore and Magnetic Hill, etc.) Would recommend Michelle’s place without hesitation!

Its a cozy and clean property suitable for adults. Like to live there.

This cabin is in a very beautiful part of the world and is right by the lobster pound which made for a great experience. We were not prepared for how rustic the cabin is …. It’s not insulated so it was pretty chilly and we should have had the heaters set up. It was a nice stay and we did enjoy the space (particularly the beautiful hydrangeas) as well as the proximity to the ocean.

We had a great time and everything went off without a hitch. Would certainly stay here again.

Our little family had a wonderful vacation at Danielle’s place. We loved the access to the beach and the beautiful view. The place was very spacious and we were very comfortable. Danielle was so kind, lending toys to our 3 year old, and spending a bit of time with him along with her grandson. We wish we had have had more time and hope to be back again!

We really loved staying in this home. The views from the master bedroom and from the dining room were really beautiful and seeing the sunset looking out over the water was especially lovely. The place was clean and comfortable, well taken care of, and little details made it a very nice place to stay. The setup feels very spacious and open, and there were even games to play during a rainy day. I’d say the home is even nicer looking than the photos. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking, plenty of counter space for food prep, and storage space for groceries as well as a dishwasher and coffee making supplies. We have long been fans of the local area and had no trouble finding places for nice meals as well as great hikes. Groceries are readily available in Canning or New Minas and the local Canning grocery had very tasty and inexpensive pizzas. Communication with the host was easy and friendly and the lock box set up worked just fine so our arrival time could be flexible.

Kit offered helpful recommendations for the area. The views were spectacular! We were visiting the Nordic spa close by so it was the perfect location. We loved the Aveda products provided, as well as the coffee and the “emergency” bar was a nice touch. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved our stay, Sara described the property very well. This home is 150 years old, and is a great piece of history. We enjoyed the fact that it doesn’t have too many modern update’s, just the necessities for comfort. Sara was amazing to deal with very prompt response and easy to communicate with. Our next trip to Nova Scotia we will contact Sara to see if this house is available.

Nice unit facing the eastern part of the bay. 2 minute drive to Hopewell Rocks. Wendy was very informative. Alma is a great location for restaurants in the area.

Great place to stay while I was doing my clinical at the hospital. Easy walk over there and in a good location of the city in general. Nice bachelor suite. All amenities I would have needed. It was great.

I had a great time there. The basement was beautiful and was more than I needed. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The location is in the east, which means traveling. I learned first hand about the limitations of Moncton buses, so I heavily recommend this location to anyone traveling by car. Otherwise, even for the short time I was there, this felt like a home away from home.

Our stay was perfect, can't wait to return and cozy up by the fireplace playing board games/cards again!
