Abilene Lake Cabin, Outside of Town

Update: Due to drought over the past several months, our lake is experiencing extremely low water level. It’s still a great little place to stay, but we do not have a full lake at this time! Sleep well on the murphy bed w/queen memory foam mattress. Also a queen sofa sleeper. Kitchen w/essentials, Keurig, coffee, bottled water, snacks. Bring your groceries to store in the fridge during your stay. Stove/micro. Towels, shampoo, soap, hairdryer. Iron. RokuTV plus 11more channels. WiFi. Clean&tidy!

If you need a vacation rental house to stay on your travels or a retreat from the stress of life to a quiet, peaceful surrounding, NorthShore GuestHouse is for you. We are in a rural setting with your host approximately 100 yards away. There are plenty of trees and bushes between the two houses so your privacy is assured. The next nearest neighbor one mile away and out of sight. Be advised you will have to travel on 2 miles of gravel roads. Our place can be your “Country Home Away from Home”.

The main level features two queen bedrooms, a TV room, bath, kitchen and lakeview room overlooking the large, gently sloping yard and lake. Additional sleeping with futons in the TV room and lakeview room. Enjoy brick-paved patio with colorful adirondaks around fire pit, a hammock, horseshoes, ping pong, charcoal grill and picnic table. Come calm your soul in the peace and comfort of a home away from home nestled in the Flint Hills of Kansas. Located on the east side of Tuttle Creek Lake and next to Carnahan Creek Recreation Area. An awesome get away for families, friends and couples. Manhattan is a 20 min drive for city fun. We can accommodate up to 8 people upon request for an additional $20.00 per head per night.
