Vacation rentals with a firepit in Amarante

Wonderful stay in a beautiful rural lemon farm. Very peaceful and idillic, perfect for a quiet week away, especially in the summer sun. Will require access to a vehicle to get anywhere but some wonderful places as Jorge recommended only a short drive away.

Beautiful location, private and serene, Maria Lurdes is a fantastic host. She took time to show us around and explain the local culture and towns. The house is beautiful with so much space for games, gym, office space, living area is spacious for large groups. The river is right in front with easy access. Will definitely go back again to enjoy the house and Maria’s great hospitality. Would easily give the place 6 STARS out of 5!!!!

We were a group of six, and the location offered coziness, luxury and privacy. The contact with Hugo went perfectly, both upon arrival and departure. We enjoyed it, and can highly recommend this blissful villa. Regards, Michael & Dinja

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

Very cozy house, the interior super cozy and comfortable, with everything a house needs and very clean. The exterior has a very large area, a good view, and parking inside the property. There is also a jacuzzi in a reserved area. I want to leave a special highlight to hosts who have always been very friendly and helpful.

She greeted us with fresh croissants and wine, making us feel truly special. Every morning, she brought us fresh bread, which was such a thoughtful and delightful touch. This place exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. The host was very nice, flexible and helpful. He gave us great tips for interesting places, welcomed us, offered local wines and great port. The place had everything you needed, just a little cold, but that's to be expected in December. The location is amazing, would definitely recommend.

Even though it was raining, it was a wonderful stay. We especially loved the fireplace with a wood lit oven inside the room. It was cosy, the hosts were very nice, and it had plenty of amenities. A great stay even in the rain.

We are very very thankful to Helena and Luis. They are very sweet, helpful and amazingly kind. We felt right at home in this absolute stunning place. It is a bit difficult to find, but Helena was a great help. We LOVED it and enjoyed it to the max! We will be back for sure!

It was a super quiet stay. It is a perfect place to disconnect. Everything was perfect and very neat. The house is beautiful and is decorated just like the environment. Nature surrounds us. The materials of the house are pure and in symbiosis with nature. Host Cheila is a sweetheart. We love everything: the house, the jacuzzi, the horses, the birds. Cheila was super friendly and proactive with our Booking. I recommend it without hesitation. Thank you ❤️

An ideal place for family vacations. Our 3 year old son was delighted with the casita and the animals, I didn't want to say goodbye to them. We'll be back for sure!

The stay in Quinta da Bandeira was great. The place has an unbeatable view, with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy while reading or strolling. The house is cozy, comfortable and is very well equipped. Although at this time (April), with cloudy weather, it was a little cold to enjoy the pool, we did take advantage of the barbecue and the beautiful estate around the house. Paulo was a magnificent host, always attentive and attentive to all the details. The restaurant he recommended, Ponto de Encontro, was great. Our 11 year old son really enjoyed the stay as well.
