Vacation rentals with a firepit in Anderson County

The house was spacious and clean. Plenty of amenities and there were no issues. Heather is a responsive host and provided clear directions.

We booked very last minute as our previous Airbnb had a water issue. Everything was clean, as pictured. Close to Keenland, some great hikes. The home provided lots of entertainment for the 6 kids and plenty of space with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Lots of thought went into providing everything one would need like easy device charging, spices in the kitchen and a coffee station.

To accurately describe the pros of this place would take a whole page. From booking until checkout Flo was available to assist us in any way needed. The house was more than "vacation accommodations" it was a home. A place that was comfortable, welcoming, & a joy to come back to.

We recently rented this charming house for a two-night getaway, and it was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in a remote and beautiful location, the setting was absolutely stunning—ideal for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing us with all the amenities we needed. We loved the various activities available on-site, which kept us entertained during our stay. Whether it was playing games, enjoying some downtime, or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings, there was never a dull moment. One minor downside was the weather; we wished it would have cooperated a bit more so we could fully enjoy walking the grounds and taking in the breathtaking views. However, we made the most of our time indoors and had a fantastic time catching up and relaxing. This a beautiful place! There's horses, trails, the sunset is absolutely amazing and all the stars. Cindy was very nice and responsive. Plus everything is within 10 minutes if you need to buy anything. This is a great getaway!

This is our second visit to Jon's listing. We enjoy the location and easy access to the Kentucky Horse Park. The apartment is lovely and very spacious and was accommodating for 5 people. I highly recommend this property.

This quiet, tucked away spot is perfect for rest and while being on the go, feeling at home but also feeling like a vacation. Although we were there to help our child with NCAA stuff this stay helped keep everything calm and relaxed.

We were doing a bourbon tour in Frankfort, but wanted to focus more of our time exploring Harrodsburg and Shaker Village, so Sharon's place was in the perfect location for a quiet retreat with our little dog. We haven't lived in the country for years, so it was wonderful to view the Pink Moon with a beautiful sky full of stars, and enjoy the amazing sunrise the following morning. It was pretty chilly when we were there, but the electric fireplace was a wonderful addition. The lovely little bistro table outside is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee, or a glass of wine or bourbon in the evening. I highly recommend, but pay attention when navigating our Kentucky country roads, as some of them are pretty narrow. We hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

This is a beautiful, quiet place out of the hustle and bustle. It is very clean and cozy and Sarah was extremely proactive before my stay and very responsive. Definitely a place to visit.

Beautiful space in a lovely location. Cute neighborhood to walk around, and close to downtown with restaurants and shops. We walked to downtown a few times for meals, plus there is an amazing bakery just a few blocks away. The space was light and bright and very comfortable - also a kitchen full of things you might need. The hosts have great taste and staying here felt like a luxury boutique hotel only better. Finally, enjoyed the big front porch to sit on in the evenings.

My stay here was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and so peaceful and serene. The bathroom is gorgeous, the bed was so comfy. Kathy was wonderful to speak to and I felt right at home. I would absolutely stay here again if I am ever back this way.

Lovely historic place, lovingly restored and updated. Comfy furniture and bed. The bathroom had loads of character. We loved everything about this place with only one exception: the street and train noise at night. It’s adjacent to downtown but on a curve, with vehicles decelerating and accelerating right in front of the house. And since it’s a period property the windows are original. I slept with earplugs after the first noisy night, and it was perfect. So bring earplugs.

Great place to stay for a large group going on the bourbon trail. Check in/out was easy and the place was very clean when we arrived. Make sure to follow their directions as the address itself will bring you to the wrong spot. Highly recommend The Farm Kitchen just down the road for breakfast.

What a lovely place!! We needed a little peace and quiet & that’s exactly what we got. Fishing was so much fun & much of the gear was provided. Amenities & necessities were spot on, and the house was super clean & so charming. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Definitely going on our favorites list!

Wonderful experience at Boone’s Cabin! Secluded setting in a great location for the Bourbon Festival. Cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Sheila was very proactive and even got us in early! Would definitely visit again.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was secluded enough to feel like a retreat and close enough to go out and explore. The pond and porch are fantastic relaxing spots. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. We went on the bourbon trail and checked out Woodford Reserve, Castle & Key, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, and Buffalo Trace. We also enjoyed some of Tracy’s recommendations, such as, dining at The Glitz and Wildside Winery. Everything was amazing! At the end of the trip, I wasn’t ready to leave. I enjoyed one last bourbon on the porch and said goodbye to the beautiful slice of heaven that Tracy and Larry shared with us. I am already looking at the calendar to schedule another visit. “If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

Kevin is an outstanding host, always answers your questions. Was very helpful with giving a description on how to find the location of the BnB. The BnB itself was gorgeous and it was in such a beautiful location. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay!

We had a great stay, perfect for attending a wedding at a nearby venue. Would definitely stay again!

It’s hard to leave a place that is literally your dream home, and this cabin was that! Myself, my father, and a few friends had an amazing 2 night stay here, enjoying the still peacefulness of the property, or having a cup of coffee on the deck. We also enjoyed a nice walk in the woods directly behind the property! I would highly recommend this airbnb to anyone, and I will definitely be back!
