Enjoy the history of our beautiful home that dates back to the late 1820's. Kayak in front of the house along the Guysborough Harbour and then visit one of our many gorgeous beaches or book a boat tour at the local marina. Come back for a rest in the hammock on the covered deck until it's time to bbq or enjoy an evening fire. Or you could walk the lane into the village and treat yourself to a delicious meal. This is your perfect restful destination.
“This property was well above our expectations. The View and smell of the ocean air was the perfect backdrop to a very relaxing weekend. The design of the house was well thought out and the host obviously has an eye for design. Very tasteful and Elegant interior. The location was remotely enough where you could feel like you are at the end of the Earth, but close enough to get gas and other amenities if need be. The house is quite spacious and there is plenty of room to find your own space without being on top of each other. Excellent value for the money and would highly recommend. I wish we could have stayed longer. When we arrived the space was sparkling clean. There was only one house across the street that seem to be vacant at the time we were there. It is very private and the home is situated on a large lot of land with a massive backyard. We will definitely be back in the future, hopefully with more time to spend.”

“Very prompt and helpful communication, and incredibly thoughtful hosts. The space was lovely, clean and bright, comfortable with many thoughtful touches. Highly recommended!”
Two story, loft-style cabin in the woods. Relax, have a campfire, dip your feet in the nearby brook and enjoy nature in this cozy and comfortable space. Available all year round, with a wood stove and equipped with a generator if you choose. Near the town of Antigonish, along the Sunrise Trail, next to the Fairmont Ridge Hiking trail, and minutes from some of the best beaches around.
“Staying at Rowan's place is a magical experience and we can't wait for a chance to go back! The walk through the woods to the cabin is peaceful , the location of the cabin is perfect, and the creek that runs by it is great for getting water to do dishes with, etc. The cabin itself is cozy and a very fun space to spend time in. We enjoyed many sweaty games of darts (the wood fire really heats the place up), and lots of time relaxing and cooking on the woodstove. I highly highly recommend staying here, at any time of year!”
