This place was far more than we expected. Dende's family made us feel very welcome, we felt we were part of their community. They took us unforgettable places, far away from mass tourism. Trips and services were great. Highly recommend for everyone who are looking for unique experiences!

The place we stayed was quiet, private, had a covered seating area for outside breakfast, air-conditioning, shower - all that we needed. The real joy came from the hospitality of Dende and his family. Home-cooked, delicious meals, breakfast delivered (if wanted) and amazing evening vibes with honesty bar. The tours that Dende arranged were out of this world. Ethical elephant mud-baths and up close experiences, kayaking through the mangroves and exploring hidden caves, island hopping on a long-tail boat tour and swimming with bioluminescent plankton! All reasonably priced with transport arranged. All tours, transfers and tour guides are locals and it feels really important to support the great work Dende is doing, to keep these business busy and support the local economy. Dende (and his lovely wife) are helpful, speak great English, share stories and really make you feel at home. The evening guitar playing and thai singing were the icing on the cake. AMAZING!

Had a great stay, where everyone makes you feel like you are part of there family. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and the owners surprised us with a cake for my wife. Then throughout our stay would just come by and giving us fruit from there garden or little snacks from the market. Dandee and his family welcomed us to his house for dinner and the tours were unbelievable because they took us to places that were not only beautiful but weren’t crowded with tourist giving us time to enjoy them. I would recommend a scooter to rent so you are able to get around. I would say this is a must stay if coming to area and you want to support the locals, meet new friends, relax and enjoy nature. Can’t recommend enough.

The villa was comfortable and very spacious. It is a part of a hotel property but it is a separate building where you can park right next to the villa. It is in an awesome location, near several national parks and caves to explore. Also Khao Sok is only an hour away. Just a few meters from front door is a very large swimming pool. Larger than most hotel pools. Every morning, I put on my swim goggles to swim laps which was such a treat. We also, used the pool in the evening after a day of adventure. Most of the time, we had the pool to ourselves. It was majestic cooling off and looking up at the limestone towers behind the property. We even saw monkeys one night! Thames was the perfect host. He was very proactive and made sure we had everything we needed. He and the staff here were so friendly, kind, and helpful. When we were leaving my wife said she was going to miss this place. I agree. It is very special here because it is the kind of place you just feel happy to be.

What a lovely place Really clean the staff where all fantastic The pool was beautiful and usually empty The room was clean tidy and well equipped The place is a bit out of the way so if you were staying long I would say your own transport would be required This is a non tourist destination and is a bit rural That said we absolutely loved it Dende and his team were fantastic they fed us beautiful food We had a meal at his house which was lovely great food and spent the evening with nice people eating drinking and music Dende also arranged a brilliant trip kayaking in the mangrove we were picked up taken to the mangrove got in kayaks had a brilliant guide who explained everything Then we were taken to lunch at a restaurant by the river after lunch we were taken to a river which had clear pools you could swim in Because it was during the week and there are few tourists we had the place nearly to ourselves it was so peaceful For me the whole place was excellent and great value

First time and definitely not the last time. Highly recommended place. The hosts hospitality was excellent and professional.

Ampa’s house is a lovely, secluded place surrounded by nature. There’s a nice pond behind the house where it is very nice to sit and watch the birds and listen to all the frogs and crickets. Theres also small river a bit further away from the house. In theory you could dip into it, but it would be hard to get in and out. Good beaches are about a 30 minute drive away, but there is a stream where locals swim behind the temple close to the 7/11. That’s just a 5 minute drive. Yes, it’s rural, there are barely any other tourists around. Yes, you need your own transportation to get around. But if you are looking for a place to get away from it all or work on something that requires peace and quiet this could be just the place for you. Most of the surrounding land belongs to Ampa’s family so you might meet her older sister or an uncle who tend to the palm trees. We stayed here for a month, since we had some work to do, and loved every minute of it. The internet is super fast and reliable.

I would come back here! The host is very kind and really takes care of you to make sure you have a good stay. The room is spacious and has the basics to keep you comfortable. The view from the property is great, and it is right next to a resort with a good coffee shop. The WiFi on the property works well and you can order food (breakfast, lunch dinner and coffee) at the property so you can experience a slice of village life but still have the convenience of getting what you need. They can also rent you a motorbike if you need to get around!
