Important to know: The sleeping area is upstairs and can only be reached by quite steep and narrow stairs - guests should feel comfortable climbing up!

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Apensen is wonderfully located at the gates of Hamburg and the Altes Land. You can best explore the area by train or bike - the regional train behind our garden takes you, for example, towards Buxtehude, Hamburg and Bremerhaven.
