Unser 300-jähriges Appenzeller Haus, idyllisch außerhalb von Heiden in der Schweiz gelegen, bietet ein Studio in umgebauter Scheune. Ideal für aktive Gäste mit Biking, Wandern, Skifahren und Entspannung am Bodensee. Das Studio verfügt über viel Einzelbetten in zwei Schlafbereichen. Die Umgebung bietet kulturelle Highlights wie das Freibad von 1932 und spirituelle Orte wie den Chindlistein. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Liechtenstein, St. Gallen, Appenzell, Bregenz und Lindau.

Our cottage is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fireplace and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the Alpine feeling can be particularly well enjoyed from the bench on the forecourt. Inside it is beautifully and cozily furnished, with a tiled stove and wood-burning stove, a cozy living room and a spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)

The approximately 400-year-old farmhouse, which is located at almost 700 meters above sea level, was partially renovated in 2019. The rustic base was skillfully combined with modern elements. The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. The house impresses with a spacious swing which is kept very close to nature. For children, there are various play options in and around the house.

Holiday cottage located on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, you can walk relatively steeply up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest for about 100 m.

In Haus Steg in Steinegg, 2 minutes by car from the main town of Appenzell, we rent a homely vacation apartment for up to 5 people. 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds and one single bed each, living room with TV; kitchen, microwave and coffee machine; raclette and fondue dishes available; bathroom with shower and WC; free Wifi, free parking, bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in the price. Just the thing for a cozy weekend for two or alone in the middle of nature!! An extensive organic shop in the nearby farmhouse is always open for late arrivals. If you are looking for luxury in the traditional sense, the Bird's Nest is not the right place. The luxury of the bird's nest is its wonderful simplicity. No TV, no radio, no Wi-Fi disturbs the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast basket if desired: 12.00/person
