Casa Mugango

Casa Mugango is in Cunha, in the Campos Novos district, about 25 km from the center, with 19 km of paved roads. It is located inside Cabanha Bocaina, a rural site. It is a refuge from the hustle and bustle, a calm environment with the proximity of Nature and country life. The house is surrounded by fragments of forest. Wild animals, insects, spiders and toads can be found, even with periodic fumigations. During the rainy season, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle. I do transfers at no cost, to be agreed upon!

Juçaras refuge with the Alambari River in the backyard

Refúgio das Juçaras is a typical forest house, rustic, clean, cozy and surrounded by giant stones that make the land enchanted. The house is within an Environmental Protection Area, embedded in nature, including juçara palm trees, ferns and other beauties of the Atlantic Forest. At the bottom of the land passes the crystalline Alambari River, which separates our land from the Itatiaia National Park. The house is in a region close to the emerald wells of Serrinha. It's an enchanted place!

Chalet surrounded by nature

Sítio Tarumã is our home and our reforestation and preservation project of the Atlantic forest. The guest cottage, facing the forest, offers privacy and immersion in the serenity of the trees. Plus, with 280 thousand m² of land, you can explore and enjoy hiking or even take a dip in the stream within the property. The city of Bananal (SP), 12km (15min), portrays its rich history in monuments, mansions, and farms from the coffee era, and offers ecotourism through its breathtaking waterfalls.

Chalet 1 to relax in nature

We have 2 chalets available for booking, called Chalet 1 and Chalet 2. If this one is unavailable on the date of interest, try Chalet 2. If you can't find the other chalet, you can contact us and we'll send you the Airbnb link. Our chalet is located within our property, but with exclusive space around it for guests. The chalet is on a plateau overlooking the valley in a quiet setting for relaxation. The chalet is ideal for 3 people, and can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.

Ninho do Condado dos Guapuruvus House. Is it a treehouse? Yes and no. A suspended chalet? Yes and no. A cabin? A kind of nest house? Yeah, maybe so. Definitely an experience. 2 floors and a ground floor. Almost a little building. I decided to share and make it available whenever the demand is for a maximum of 4 people. Fireplace, sauna, thermal sheet… next to a river… we do not accept visits without prior authorization. We have an extra cottage for the second couple.

Modernist Chalet in the middle of the Forest

3000 m2 site surrounded by an Atlantic Forest in a protected area. The main house is a modernist chalet designed in 1962 by architect and artist Levy Menezes (1922-1991). The property is within the Itatiaia National Park. To access Guapuruvu Residency, you must identify yourself at the Park entrance as a residential visitor.
