Kastanien Cottage

Our four studio apartments—Chestnut, Maple, Linden, and Birch—combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with modern simplicity. Each apartment is completely unique and has been lovingly modernized by us. The chestnut can accommodate two to four people. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen,” a cultural project in beautiful Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill to create a future-oriented space for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and recreation.

Time out in the forest with an oven and sauna!

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Welcome to our stylish apartment – ideal for families, groups and friends. Completed in 2022, the property offers modern living comfort on approx. 170 m². You can expect a spacious, open-plan living and dining area with fully equipped kitchens, four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sofa bed for two additional guests. Space for up to 10 people. The highlight is the bright living area with high ceilings, open half-timbered and glazed Tennentor overlooking the village square.

Natur Nest Nemitz – Living in a converted stable

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Our cozy holiday apartment in the small village of Bülitz in the Altmark region offers approximately 70 m² of space for 2–4 people. The duplex spans two floors and offers a peaceful location and sweeping views of the surrounding greenery. Old walls, exposed wooden beams, brick, and clay plaster create a unique atmosphere in the room, combining rustic charm with modern comforts like underfloor heating and fibre-optic internet. A place to breathe and feel good.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation you can make yourself really comfortable and switch off from the stress of everyday life... The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room, and can accommodate up to 4 people. It is important to know that the double bed in the attic can be reached via the stairs shown in the picture. All skylights are equipped with solar shutters, can accordingly keep out heat and completely darken.

Friedenseiche vacation home in Abbendorf/Haverland

A paradise for cyclists, hikers and anglers - perfect for small + large nature lovers. Right where the beautiful Havel flows into the Elbe, lies the relaxing apartment Friedenseiche. The address is: Haverland 7, 19322 Abbendorf. The clean and spacious apartment can accommodate six people. One master bedroom with a box spring bed, two small bedrooms each with a bed. Two more people can be accommodated on the comfortable sofa bed in the living room.

Living in an old school

There is no central heating. There is a hot air oven, which is similar to a tiled stove, but quickly gives plump warmth. It is heated on arrival and the heat usually lasts until the next morning. It's easy to cheer! Relax, also enjoy silence in a stylish guest apartment, feel comfortable no matter the weather. Quiet in the countryside, there is no distraction, no shops, no cafe, nothing. Relax on the small pony farm

Enjoy a great time on our private farm with our horses/ponies. Depending on the number of guests, you have two or three bedrooms, a large living room with dining table, a small but well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub.
