Kastanien Cottage

Our four studio apartments—Chestnut, Maple, Linden, and Birch—combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with modern simplicity. Each apartment is completely unique and has been lovingly modernized by us. The chestnut can accommodate two to four people. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen,” a cultural project in beautiful Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill to create a future-oriented space for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and recreation.

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Our cozy holiday apartment in the small village of Bülitz in the Altmark region offers approximately 70 m² of space for 2–4 people. The duplex spans two floors and offers a peaceful location and sweeping views of the surrounding greenery. Old walls, exposed wooden beams, brick, and clay plaster create a unique atmosphere in the room, combining rustic charm with modern comforts like underfloor heating and fibre-optic internet. A place to breathe and feel good.

Relax on the small pony farm

Genießt eine tolle Zeit auf unserem privaten Hof mit unseren Pferden/Ponys. Es stehen euch je nach Gästeanzahl zwei oder drei Schlafzimmer, ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Esstisch, eine kleine, aber gut ausgestattete Küche und ein Bad mit Badewanne zur Verfügung. Von der Terrasse aus habt ihr einen schönen Blick über die Pferdeweide und genießt den Sonnenuntergang. Ich gebe euch gerne Tipps zu Unternehmungen in unserem schönen Wendland. The holiday apartment is located in the outbuilding of our detached farm "Rabennest" in the biosphere reserve, surrounded by meadows, forest and lakes. The farm is located just behind the dyke. The fully equipped apartment can accommodate 2–3 people. Exterior: small fenced garden with barbecue option. Whether for animal and nature lovers, anglers, mushroom collectors or just those seeking peace, this place promises pure relaxation. Dog's are welcome.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation you can make yourself really comfortable and switch off from the stress of everyday life... The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room, and can accommodate up to 4 people. It is important to know that the double bed in the attic can be reached via the stairs shown in the picture. All skylights are equipped with solar shutters, can accordingly keep out heat and completely darken.
