Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. We are Javier and Juanjo and we have a single-family home on a 1000 m plot in Sierra de Fuentes, with lawn areas and a private pool. The house is divided into two completely independent floors separated by an exterior staircase that gives access to your accommodation and the pool. Access to the plot and outdoor areas are shared, and we will be happy to have you so close, but at the same time, with all the privacy of being on different and independent floors

Monte das Cascatas, natural surroundings

Cozy cottage, inserted in a serene and natural Monte Alentejano with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S.Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as Kills, Olive Trees, Carvalhos or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites refreshing baths for its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused water tanks.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.

Stairway to Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).

The Barn @ Vale de Carvao

The Barn is in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, near the Rio Sever, in some of the most unspoiled countryside in Portugal. It feels a long way off the beaten track and is a beautifully rustic, quiet and comfortable place to relax and unwind.
