Vacation rentals with a kayak in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh

Trudy was a great hostel and responsive whenever i messaged her. The place was beautiful..nice and clean snd great location. My family and i had a great time!

We rode our motorcycles from Ottawa to David's Brights Grove cottage and when we arrived, he had a nice cold one in the fridge for our arrival and fresh farm eggs (we didn't cook unfortunately). The cottage is sooo close to a beautiful blue water beach yet is far enough away, tucked in to the cutest and quietest little neighborhood you've ever seen. The cottage has a lovely, very private patio, all surrounded by plants and flowers and the trees keep it all wonderfully shaded. Also a nice outdoor fireplace and one indoors too. David stopped by on Sunday morning and told us to take our time checking out, chatted about the area with my partner (who grew up in that area 50/60 years ago), and took some pics of our motorcycles. What a fantastic person, we didn't meet Juli but hopefully in the future. Thank you David and Juli. We'll be spreading the word through the biker community to definitely check you out. Cheers. absolutely loved our stay. incredibly peaceful and quiet. space was well kept, cute and comfortable, the stairs leading to the water and the view 10 out of 10. will definitely be coming back. mais the host was incredibly friendly, polite and willing to help us if we had any questions or concerns about the space. great experience all around. would recommend if visiting the south hamptons or sauble

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.

We had an amazing stay at Mikes air bnb in Grand Bend for my Husbands 30th. The place was wonderful with lots of things to do and a lot of indoor and outdoor space. Mike was more than responsive to us and helped us with any questions we had and made sure everything was working and fixed for us. Him and his wife were super responsive and were able to accommodate us with early check in and late checkout because the place was available the night before and after. This was very kind of them and they did not have to do this. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The most amazing thing about this air bnb is the location , it’s a minute walk from the main strip and had so many extra amenities such as kayaks. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting grand bend. The inside of the place is modern, new and had everything we needed and the outdoor space was equipped with bbqs, outdoor Furniture etc. we would definitely stay again.

We had a perfect stay in September! The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed to cook and the beds were comfortable! It is perfectly located between Port Elgin and Southampton. We loved the gorgeous sunsets and kayaking on the lake. Would love to stay here again!

The outdoor patio was a great spot for morning coffee, and the Wi-Fi and entertainment options were excellent. The space was stylish and comfortable, with incredibly cozy beds. The cleanliness was outstanding—everything was spotless, and the linens were fresh. The host was responsive and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. I’m already looking forward to returning!

Sara was an excellent host! She was quick to respond, gave clear instructions and was very understanding of our needs. She had the fire going for us inside which was so nice! I very much appreciated her flexibility with check in and out! The home was beautiful and clean - it had everything we needed and felt like a home which is so nice! Loved the huge dining table for us girls to gather! The beds were a 8.5/10 which is a win. There was not complete privacy and we did feel out in the open at the fire pit - I’m sure summer is even busier! The sunset was stunning - the stairs to the beach were intense - great exercise but be prepared. Neighbour’s were friendly. I’d say the only negative (which isn’t really negative), was the living room furniture., it was somewhat uncomfortable because it has been used. A plus was being so close to Grand Bend for all your needs! Thanks Sara - we hope to return!

We had the perfect getaway at the pebble, the cottage was very homey and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to unwind while listening to the sounds of the waves at any time of day! You can tell Catherine has put thought into every detail of the stay, from the ample seating, to the kayaks, and even a bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival, Catherine has thought of everything and anything you might need. We really enjoyed the added touch of having a bin for vegetarian food scraps to feed the goats! Also the sunsets over Lake Huron both from the cottage and on the beach a few steps away were beautiful!

We celebrated two 30th birthdays with a weekend here and it was wonderful! The house is gorgeous with everything you could need. The hot tub was a lovely bonus! Jennifer was very proactive and easily accommodated my last minute booking. She even had flowers waiting for us to wish a happy birthday! Would highly recommend and stay again :)

The place is even more beautiful than the photos! Alexis’s place was spotless, had everything you would need, the beds were extremely comfortable, lots of space, peaceful, and the beach and view was gorgeous. The beach is sandy- not rocky and very slowly gets deeper but the water is pretty shallow (waist height) so great for kids or people looking to just cool off. We even found lots of sea glass for art! The stairs were easy to go up and down, but the golf cart was a great option if you didn’t want to or were unable to use the stairs. Just a short drive from grand bend, but Alexis gave many local activities and recommendations. I highly recommend bringing bug repellents. Alexis was very quick to respond, organized, and the best host I’ve communicated with on Airbnb. We would all love to come back!

What a beautiful place to stay. It was cozy and the view of the lake was absolutely stunning!! Angela responded promptly to every question that we had. We will definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful spot on the lake, nice big deck & close to snowmobile trails. We have stayed at many air bnbs & this was one of the most cleanest places we have stayed! Super easy check-in as-well!! Would stay again & recommend to others!

Susan was a great, friendly and accommodating host. We felt right at home during our stay. The place was clean and the amenities were great. Perfect place for a “glamping” experience away from the city!

My family had an amazing stay at Jennifer's cabin! We came for a ski weekend with our 2 young kids and our dog. It was just a short drive to the ski hill, but the cabin was situated a ways back on the property and we felt like we were in our own winter wonderland. The cabin had everything we needed, including board games! and the wood stove kept us nice and warm. We enjoyed hiking around with our dog and also spending time in the hot tub. Jennifer was very communicative & responsive and we felt extremely taken care of and welcome. We hope to come back again one day!

The cabin had a great mixture of modern looks with some original rustic finishes. Williams Lake is my favourite Lake in Ontario. The waters are warm, clear and boat traffic isn’t overwhelming. The neighbours are close but are friendly and respectful. Maude is a great host, she was very friendly and responsive.

Always a wonderful stay here. Clean and cozy cabins next to the beautiful creek. This is truly a slice of heaven. Scott is always such a fantastic host and makes sure you have a very relaxing stay. Can't wait for my next visit.

An absolute gem! We’re already making plans to go back. From the covered porch with a fire table to making fires on the private shore with stunning sunsets to exceptionally comfortable indoor living spaces, everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough!
