Ahmets apartment is a stunning location for first time visitors to this extraordinary city. The rooftop location is cozy and rich in character, with district views across the rooftops to the nearby Galata tower, and glimpses of the Bosphorus across the rooftops from the bedroom. Ahmet was a fantastic host, easy to communicate with and responsive to our requests. Very happy to recommend this lovely apartment to others, particularly those who are looking for a space that captures some of the unique charm of historic Istanbul.

Great find on asian side, staff/reception very welcoming and kind- host accommodated us earlier, nice pool and sauna. For the price paid, excellent!

The apartment is very well located, with all kinds of shops around, an area with a lot of movement, close to all means of transport. Sami was quick to respond when required.

Definitely beautiful views as all other reviews mentioned, totally worth the four flights of stairs. The bed was comfortable. Appreciated the responsiveness of the host. The tram and metro stations are right in front of the building which made it so easy to go around in Istanbul .

Very nice Place to stay! Quiet at night and easy to get around!

The house is in a perfect location. You can walk to the metrobus 200m and Kadıköy 1.5 km if you want. The return by metrobus at night is very easy due to the location of the house. Apart from that, the house is very clean, the entrance to the house is very easy and you can be comfortable because it is in a gated community. The balcony is spacious and very pleasant. The host is very caring. We had a systemic problem with the entrance and exit of the parking garage, I called the host and took care of it instantly. Thanks for everything. I will choose it again for my next trips.

The apartment was incredibly cozy and perfect for a comfortable stay. From the very beginning, the host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming — assisting us with check-in and any questions we had, and always available 24/7. One of the best parts was the neighborhood: peaceful, charming, and full of lovely streets with fresh pastries, delicious local food, and everything within walking distance. The apartment itself had everything needed for a small group — all the amenities, a warm atmosphere, and thoughtful details that made us feel right at home. The location also offers excellent transport connections, making it easy to reach any part of the city. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for creating such a welcoming space. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended to everyone!

If we are to stay in that area again, we would prefer Mr. Celal's house without hesitation again. The house is as it appears in the photos, and Mr. Celal was very helpful with both check-in and check-out, he was always very interested. The fact that it had parking was the biggest advantage. Yes, the slope it is located is steep, but it is definitely worth it because it is within walking distance to Taksim Square and the bus station.

I booked Zeynep's apartment for multiple stays in Kadıköy, and it was absolutely the right decision. From the start, Zeynep was incredibly friendly and always responsive, going as far as to send me a reassuring message in the immediate aftermath of the April 2025 earthquake to clarify that her apartment building had been checked for cracks and structural damage, and that it was safe to stay in. On the evening of check-in, I ran about 1.5 hours late - and where most Air BnB hosts would have become exasperated, both Zeynep and Mr Bilal (the janitor who handled the check-in process) were so polite and patient while they waited for me. The actual apartment is lovely: both the bed and sofa bed are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, the washer/dryer machine is really effective, and the bed linen and towels were spotless. I also appreciated the extremely powerful hair dryer in the bathroom!

Apartment as shown in the photos. Great for groups of 6. Three bedrooms and two new bathrooms; a living room and large kitchen. The upstairs terrace is great for relaxing in the sun. There were a few shortcomings in the house that were promptly addressed by the timely intervention of the host. In general, the location is good, although the climb that leads from the apartment to Piazza taksim for those with serious mobility difficulties can be uncomfortable, so just pay attention to this. Elevators, water and electricity always working perfectly. The apartment is on the border between the new area of taksim and a slightly more popular area but this does not create any problem as the area is, in general, super safe both day and night. Some noise from the street (istanbul, in general is chaotic) but the top floor and soundproofing of the windows mitigated this aspect. Ask the host for tips on where to go, transportation, etc..., it will always help you 360°.

Wow — what an amazing stay! This Airbnb truly went above and beyond our expectations. Everything was spotless, the staff were so friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed, and the location couldn’t have been better. We felt so welcomed and comfortable the entire time. The apartment is impeccable exactly as in the photos, it is spacious, well equipped with very good quality furniture and everything you need, in a very nice and well-kept building. The location is extraordinary, a few steps from restaurants and transportation. The staff is very friendly, with excellent communication and helpful, they even offered us transportation to the airport which is convenient and at a fair price. I highly recommend it.

The accommodation was perfect; beautiful, very well equipped, and quiet because overlooking a garden. It is conveniently located, 5 minutes from the Galata Tower and 5 minutes from the tram line going directly into the center of Istanbul. Entry into the apartment is easy thanks to the caretaker at the entrance ( at any time) A rental we recommend!
