Family-friendly vacation rentals in Avalon

It was great resort for my family vacation. The only thing is that my cellphone couldn’t get the signal from our villa, maybe it was the problem with T mobile.

We loved our stay at Roya’s home. First, the home is lovely and is in an amazing area. We loved how walkable it was to coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, etc. The outside patio with the fire pit and the large amount of seating was great. My husband and I were with our 2 daughters (ages 24 and 27) and their spouse and significant other. The 3 bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom was perfect. Personally we loved that the lights turned off (only during the daytime and only after 2 hours). Seems like a great way to conserve some energy if they aren’t needed and if they are needed it is easy enough to turn them back on. I would love to have them in our home! We also enjoyed the tile throughout the updated, upscale home. So much easier to keep clean. We found Roya to be very helpful and leave very detailed instructions. We also loved the local art she had on the 2nd floor. It truly is a lovely home in a great area. I recommend it highly and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful complex with gorgeous views and lots of nice amenities. Loved staying at Hamilton Cove in Catalina Island. Looks like a village on a Greek island, quaint, charming and peaceful.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and organized. Had all the “ extras” needed for a family getaway.

Alan has a really nice place in a great locality. Would definitely love to visit again!

Beckett is wonderful. He is incredibly quick to respond, even on weekends and helped me book an extremely last minute trip with ease. The place is wonderful and great for families. Lots of little activities through the hotel. The beach is a shuttle ride away so not super walkable with kids but we had fun ridding the bus. Great trip and would definitely book with Beckett again!

Great apartment with a fantastic view. Andre and Leslie were very responsive and kind, even got us an early check in. The taxi from the ferry to the apartment is a nice perk. Highly recommend!

This place was great! Private garage, large living room, comfy beds and outdoor balcony/patio - what more could you ask for! Overall our stay was great. David was very responsive and friendly. I ran into a WiFi issue since I work from home and David was quick to help! Location is walkable to local coffee shops and restaurants. Can’t beat the location for sure! Will definitely recommend!

We had to evacuate our home in LA due to the wildfires. Michelle was quick to answer and very kind. Check in was so easy! We felt comfortable and safe.

Brenda's place is located in a quadplex, amidst a sea of quadplexes. With that said, great value for the area. Maybe a 5 minute drive to the water, a few different beaches to choose from, and a number of options for dining increase the value of what you're getting here. We stayed during the week, and it was an exceptionally quiet neighborhood. The place, itself, is somewhat small. But it has all of the basic spaces covered: two bathrooms, three bedrooms, great kitchen/dining/living room area, as well as a small, gated patio that opens to the driveway. Internet was reliable and fast, and there were games and beach items included. The penalty they have for finding sand in the unit is understandable; it can be difficult to clean. But, given that most folks using the space will be there at least in part because of the beach seems almost unreasonable... how much sand in the space will be too much? Other than that, we would stay again. Lots of value here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Margaret’s place! The location is perfect…2 blocks to Main Street and 2 blocks to the beach. Very easy to get in, and we loved having a garage parking spot for our car. We used the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels, which made for a lovely stay near the beach. We would definitely recommend this place, and will hopefully be back in the future!!

This was a perfect place for us - well-equipped, comfortable, and convenient to every place and everything we needed. Alain was extremely responsive to questions and provided many helpful suggestions, which were also much appreciated. Alain made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this listing to anyone who wants to be near a beach, walk to get coffee and pastries, and have a quiet place to stay with friends or family.

Linda's Beach Bungalow was so cute inside & out! loved the landscaping, so detailed, felt cozy & clean. Perfect distance to everything in the area just as described in her welcome book. The sleeping accommodations were comfy, & Linda was so responsive, kind and communicative. Thank you for accommodating our little family.

Dori's home had everything you would need, from the basic essentials to the bikes and beach gear to get around. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and located just minutes away from the beach. We would definitely recommend this listing and book again!

The house had the best view. The house was light and bright and airy. Have the use of the golf cart was also nice. We used the pool and hot tub and it was really nice my 10 year old loved it. This a great place for a small family or couple. There are lots of stairs getting to and from the house but it made for good exercise. We had a lovely stay.

We all really enjoyed our stay in Catalina at Kim's place. It was in an excellent location and the view from the upper and lower decks was lovely and so perfectly Catalina. We could sit out on the lower deck and share a snack and glass of wine with a view all the way to the ocean. It felt like a special place and we felt lucky to have booked it. The rooms were comfortable and the condo was clean and well appointed. We found it easy to get anyplace from the location without too much walking, but the addition of the use of a golf cart was so helpful. We found Kim to be an excellent host and she was responsive to us when we had questions or needs. Basically, Kim was great host, and the condo was a lovely place to spend some time on Catalina. We would all highly recommend it for your next trip to your island getaway.

Elizabeth's place was great! Everything was a described and Elizabeth was great to work with. She was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay. The place was amazing as well. Great amenities, great location and plenty of space for my family. I will definitely be booking with Elizabeth again.

We have been staying at Marriott Newport Coast Villas for years. It is a beautiful family oriented resort close to Orange County’s est beaches, restaurants and malls. Can’t go wrong !

The place was amazing, with breathtaking views. The check in was easy and simple, and the place was clean. The golf cart was a great plus and super helpful with getting around the island. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Excellent stay at Tony’s oasis! Place was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. Tony was a great host, communicative and gave us a flexible check-in. The community was quiet and walkable with a Starbucks steps away for added convenience. Parking was also easy and convenient with an underground garage. Easy walk to the Spectrum mall for lunch and late night drinks.

The host, Beth, is extremely responsive and a great communicator. She added my wife to the discussion so that we would both be informed. The Casita is great with easy parking and central in the resort. We would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay at Terranea as you have all of the resort amenities that you would receive by booking through the resort directly.

Ryan and Rosie were both super friendly and welcoming. The place itself was just as described. It was clean and spacious for myself, my partner, and our little puppy. The area was close to everything we had planned to go to which was really convenient. Definitely will rebook for another occasion!
