Vacation rentals with a patio in Aylesbury Vale

We recently returned from a very comfortable 19-night stay in Julie’s apartment in Hitchin, a beautiful market town dating from the 7th century. Julie, and her daughter-in-law Kerri, are friendly and helpful hosts. The bright, sunny apartment is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and allowed preparation of numerous meals. Bedding and pillows were comfortable. Not being accustomed to English systems, we ran out of hot water the first afternoon. After contacting Julie, she immediately explained how to avoid the problem and have hot water whenever needed. We appreciated the off-road designated parking spot close to the front entrance to the apartment building. Location of apartment is excellent, being a short walk to the centre of the town, where there are excellent restaurants and coffee shops (don’t miss Esquires in the Market Place). And a five-minute walk from the apartment takes you to Hitchin Town Football Club, a very entertaining way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Great location - very quiet and yet you are right by the subway and get everywhere. The decor was stylish, there was everything you needed!

Nice place that was comfortable. We felt very safe here. The location was great, and was easily walkable to a couple of underground stations within about 10-15 minutes. Cindy was very responsive to any questions we had.

We had a great stay here. Susan was a wonderful host, who made it possible for us to check in early, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s a lovely neighbourhood, with three different supermarkets within walking distance (a Sainsbury’s Local, Co-op and LIDL). It’s also easy to get around, as it’s a short walk (15 minutes) to the underground station to get into central London. As an added bonus, it’s on the Richmond train line and a very quick trip out to Kew Gardens.

The apartment was beautiful. It has a really nice balcony with a beautiful view of the river. Fully stocked kitchen, literally had everything that we needed. The host was very responsive and helped us out when we had issues. Great location, walkable to public transportation, and grocery store was really close by. We had a great vacation overall, glad we chose this place to stay!

We visited London for the first time and found Stephanie's place to be a wonderful home away from home. She and Jonathan were very responsive to our request for early check in and quickly remedied challenges we had with keys, toilet, and Wifi. The flat appeared exactly as advertised, equipped with all appliances we needed during our 10 day stay. This location is nice if you don't mind the 15 - 20 min. walk to the train station (great exercise). Shepards Bush Market is the closest stop if using the London tube. Thank you, Stephanie for your hospitality, flexibility, and dedication to ensuring our stay was comfortable as well as memorable.

Well where do I start?? Kate’s apartment is pure luxury, it is beautiful with lots of bespoke furniture, an immaculate kitchenette with top of the range electricals. The whole place was immaculate, not a speck of dust anywhere, it was super clean. The location is beautiful and that carried on into the garden, it was just stunning. Kate welcomed us from the veranda and was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, My only wish, is that we could have stayed longer. However we going to get a date in our diary to return to Kate’s place for another luxurious stay away.

Alex's home was a great spot for our first trip to the UK! The neighborhood was easy to navigate and felt safe. It was a very convient location to public transportation and very close to local markets that made our daily adventures a breeze. (If you want a traditional English afternoon tea walk over to Orange Peeko.)

The house was lovely, clean and spacious. We had a great stay and would return again 😊

Elsa’s place is great for a stay outside the hustle and bustle of central London. An easy 15 minute walk to the tube that will take you straight to the centre, we used this as a base for a gig at Hyde Park and travel was incredibly easy. The space is comfortable, private and clean with everything you need and Elsa kept in touch to ensure we could easily access the property. The use of the drive way was also incredibly useful. Would highly recommend.

Jen is a very responsive and available host. The apartment is well located, with good access to public transport to easily reach the center of London. The accommodation is perfectly equipped. We would love to come back if we come back to London. Thank you also for breakfast, it is a much appreciated attention! ✨

Kalada’s place was very immaculate and cozy. I felt like I was home.

Absolutely top. Warren was very welcoming when showing us around the place was in great condition and exactly as shown. Bedrooms all had TVs and Kitchen was well stocked for extras coffee sauces and condiments and bathrooms had soap towels and extras if you forgot something. 100% would stay again.

Lovely family home in a nice quiet neighborhood with everything we need and more! Close to museums and all the places one would want to see and go to in London. Host is friendly, helpful, responsive, and great communication. Would love to stay again, thank you!

House was very cosy, perfect for what we needed. Very clean and tidy, made us feel right at home. Josh was a great host, nice and easy to deal with, helpful when asked questions and was very quick to respond every time. Absolutely worth the money, will definitely stay again if we're in the area! Yasar’s place was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. I was traveling with family that aren’t used to air bnbs, and they felt right at home and loved the experience. Upon check in Yasar took time to welcome us by showing us everything and answering our questions. The furniture was very comfortable, and the beds were extremely lovely as well; a wonderful sleep after a day in London. The location is phenomenal as it’s across from the Maida Vale tube station as well as near a corner of multiple markets, a lovely bakery, and also a bar. We had a wonderful time just taking a walk one morning in the beautiful neighborhood. Yasar was very attentive, we didn’t have any issues but if we had he was very available. The balcony was lovely, the apartment felt safe and is up one flight of stairs that were no problem at all. A quality experience and I’d love to rent again and return next time I’m in London :)

The apartment was close to two Tube stations, so getting around was very easy. Our flight landed at 7: 30 and we were able to check in early and leave our luggage so we could roam around unencumbered. Before our trip we requested and received a list of places to go and directions to get there. Since we were new to London, this was very helpful, indeed. The bedding was nice and soft and it was delightful to sit out on the terrace and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. On our last day, we got locked out but Nadine's husband (who lives downstairs) was available to open the door and let us back in.

We had the most wonderful time at Danessa’s beautiful cottage. The place is very well equipped and super comfortable. The surroundings are gorgeous and all you hear and see is exquisite wild life. I would very happily stay there again and have no hesitation to recommend it.

What a great host Nik was. He was very responsive, helpful and genuinely interested in us and our story. Nik’s studio was a lovely place to stay for a few days and very importantly for us was parking and stable wifi for working and being able to watch TV. Good central heating meant the studio remained cosy with plenty of hot water and the bed was lovely and comfortable. In warmer weather there was also a lovely private outdoor space with seating and a BBQ. In checking out Nik offered for me to stay on longer which was a real bonus and a very kind offer. Thanks Nik for being a very welcoming host and I highly recommend your studio as a lovely place to stay if you are in the area.

Lovely accommodation, close to nice restaurants and pubs, close to Notting Hill and portobello market. Easy to walk to the underground. Matthew was as an exceptional host and was always easy to contact and replied straight away. I would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again when next in London.

We found this apartment to be the perfect launch spot for our brief stay in London. The location was so perfect. Just 1 block from the central line, getting around the city was a breeze. You're also walking distance to beautiful neighborhoods. The apartment had everything we needed and was very quiet. We accidentally locked ourselves out at one point but the host was quick to retrieve our keys for us. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. I would recommend this place for up to 3 people who want a laid back London experience!

I had a lovely stay with Samantha. She was always able to provide me with useful information. Very clean place, like a 5-star hotel!

We had a perfect stay! The house was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated in a modern style. Me and my two daughters got to see foxes on the street and backyard daily. The supermarket is one block away, and the tube station is less than 5 minutes walk. I had stayed in a family home as a student in the neighbourhood twenty years ago and I loved it. It is calm, very typical and has many shops and markets. It is far enough not to be touristy but also about 25 minutes from central London. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were bathroom amenities available. Ben was very responsive when I had an issue with the boiler and we promptly solved it even though it was very late. Me and my daughters went to the theater several times and felt safe and comfortable coming back late using the tube. The supermarket across the street closes at ten and there is a convenience store around the corner 24h or closes veery late, not sure which. Look no further. There's no mistake here.
