“Javier's house has an incredible location, a few kilometers from Jarafuel and yet, in the middle of nature. It was very cold at night but we were warm in front of the huge fireplace, cozy and practical. We saw beautiful deer and valleys where we could walk with total tranquility. A simple but complete accommodation. We will definitely repeat.”
This large, recently refurbished four bedroom village farm house, is located at the top of a traditional Spanish village. The extensive terrace, at the back of the house, has fabulous views up and down the valley and offers sun and shade under the eaves of the open barn.
“We have passed the Todos Los Santos bridge in the house of Simón and Margaret in Zarra. The house is beautiful, it is even more beautiful than the photos show. Very wide and with all kinds of details. It has a wood burning stove that heats the entire room of the living room and the open kitchen and helps keep the house warm. It also has a very large terrace in the back, with mountain views. Now in the autumn it is sunny in the morning and ideal for breakfast or lunch. Simon and Margaret could not receive us because they were outside those days, however the communication with Margaret has been fluid and immediate. Instead, we were greeted by Jane and her husband and we were treated wonderfully. As for the environment, Zarra is a very small town and very quiet. The environment is very beautiful. The surrounding villages offer some activities that you can enjoy such as the Cuevas de Don Juan in Jalance, the fluvial route by boat from Cofrentes, etc. Thank you for offering your accommodation.”
Beautiful traditional style log cabin, set in an olive grove only ten minutes drive from the historic town of Teresa de Confrentes. If you enjoy waking/cycling or just generally love nature, there are many country trails that are perfect for a wide range of sports. The owner is Michelle, who lived in London until 2015 but opted for the quiet life in the mountains and just fell in love with the Ayora Valley and the Log Cabins. The guest house is completely private.
“Fantastic accommodation in a rural setting and a very hospitable hostess. Ideal both to enjoy for a few days, and to use it as accommodation to visit the area, since it is located just over an hour from the Valencian coast. The farm is surrounded by countryside, far from urban areas, which, together with the usual clear skies in the area, allows you to enjoy watching the starry sky and the Milky Way from the pool at night. As an aspect to highlight, the house works with its own solar energy, since it is located in a very sunny region.”
