Our house is located in the historic village center of Bischleben, a district of the state capital Erfurt. The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

Small charming house 15 minutes to Erfurt.

The small house is located on the county road between Neudietendorf and Erfurt. The interior is new and has been designed with a lot of love. The furniture is made of lumber and exudes a special charm. Bedroom & bathroom face south, living room with French balcony to the north. The entire house is heated with a pellet stove in the kitchen (host takes care of daily maintenance by arrangement). Arrival (e.g. for business travelers) is possible at any time of the day by arrangement.

Cozy little cave in villa

The room is in the basement of a villa in a good location of Weimar. It has a separate entrance on the side of the villa where there is also a small outdoor seating area with table for the guests. There you go down a few stairs to the entrance. In the anteroom is the wardrobe where there is also a fridge, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. From there, the toilet is accessible. Bedroom has a 1.40 x 2 m bed with sitting area and small bathroom with walk-in shower. No kitchen!

Our German-American family would be so pleased to invite you into our home. Our charming, 200-year-old guest house is just a few minutes away from the historic town of Weimar. Home to Goethe and Schiller, Bauhaus and rich with culture, there is so much to see and do in this area. We have lovingly renovated our little cottage, framed by roses and furnished with antiques, melding the old-world with a touch of the modern. We hope that each of our guests feels at home.

Various seats invite you to relax. There are two beautiful bike paths to Weimar as well as an hourly bus connection.

The cycling trail along the Ilm (approx. 350 m away), the city bus stop "Am Anger" (100 m from the house) or the in-house car park, offer you a comfortable journey and can at the same time be used as an ideal starting point for wonderful discovery trips to the city of Weimar and the beautiful surroundings in the heart of Thuringia.

The historic center, the Radilmweg and a wooded area as a local recreation area are in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. Our small house has an approximately 28 square meter self-contained apartment, which we have prepared as a guest apartment. We live as a family of 4 in the house. Both living areas are separated from each other so our guests have their own area. A parking space right in front of the house can be used.

Closer to the historical site of the Bauhaus cannot be lived! In the immediate vicinity of Bauhaus University, the small 30 m2 apartment is located in an old building in the lying Bauhaus street. You can expect a fully equipped apartment with kitchen, bathroom with shower, washing machine, large double bed and workspace. The apartment is bright and tastefully decorated with art and design objects. Perfect for couples or singles.
