great place, good location

Unlike the exterior of the old building, it is a neat and well organized house, so you can rest well before going. I rested comfortably before heading out. The smell of cigarettes in the lower house that came up to the bathroom vents at night was unavoidable.

It was exactly as shown in the photos. It's spacious and pleasant. There is no toothpaste, so be sure to bring yours!! I'll use it again next time!

I had a great stay for a few months! The space was very small, but having 2 separate bedrooms was ideal. Everything you need is inside. The place is modern and very convenient. In the cold icy winter, the place was perfectly cozy and warm. The landlord was so kind and helpful. Also, the area is a bit outside of the main city. However, for me, this was a perk! I loved walking around and discovering beautiful spaces. It is surrounded by mountains and quaint streams, and many small houses, away from the main street. It felt like you are outside of Seoul, yet Gangnam and Seoul Station are both an easy 1 hour metro ride away. I found amazing Italian, authentic Thai, and delicious handmade tofu restaurants all within 10 minutes walk. A CU is in the building (and a cafe, that has AMAZING egg tarts!) and small grocery store next door. The landlord went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

This is my second time staying here, and as long as it's still available, probably won't be my last. My classmate and I really like this place and it feels like home. I don't know what else I could say that I didn't write the first time. But I would recommend this if you need to be in the area or really close to the base. 100% recommend.

It meant our expectations.

It's a perfect party room. The bathroom is a small space where you can only have a toilet, but there is a shampoo, body wash, and a shower, so you can wash it lightly, and there is a dry sink when you come out, so it was very comfortable and nice. It was prepared in many ways, and the refrigerator was pretty (I didn't see the freezer), and it was nice to have a microwave. The window didn't open because there was no mosquito net, but you can turn on the air conditioner or heating, and I remember it was a little colder than I thought. I had a good memory. And the convenience store was nice because there was a CU in the back when the GS closed next to it at night.

It was clean, spacious and quiet. City sensibility, the accommodation and its surroundings are like a new city. If you walk out, there is a lake, a traditional market, and an ocean.

I had a good rest.

We stayed for a month in Korea in Dec / Jan. Emma's place was perfect for this trip! Not only was the place in a great location, but it was such a lovely home with lots of natural lighting. Emma is also a super responsive host. When I go back to Korea, I will definitely stay again at this place.

I really love the place the owner set the house with a homey feel. Perfect for a couple. Location wise I would say lots of restaurants and bars nearby - and 7 eleven for your late night snacks. Owner is very responsive whenever I needed help with something. They even have universal power adapter in the house - in case you guys forgot to bought beforehand like us. Overall it was a great stay for us in Seoul. It's just sometimes you can hear noises from the next door - but it's a busy area, you're still gonna hear from nearby bars.

We had a great stay at James’s place! The house is clean, bright, and cozy. It’s well-equipped with everything you might need — from and steamer to a microwave, washing machine, and dryer, hair dryers, utensils for simple cooking. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise — stocked with shower gel, lotion and hair products that smell amazing, plus the water pressure was excellent, which was a big deal for us after long days out. The neighborhood is peaceful, yet just a short walk away from plenty of shops, eateries, and a few convenience stores right on the route from the train station. Super convenient and easy to get around. Also, a must-try nearby is a café called Croquer — hands down the best pastries and croissants we’ve ever had in our lives (not even exaggerating!) Would definitely recommend this place and stay again!

There were convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes on the first floor, so it was convenient.

There was a lake park and department store nearby, and it was convenient to have everything nearby! The accommodation was the same as the photos. The bed was fluffy, so it was comfortable to sleep, and more✩ than anything, I prioritized cleanliness, but it was really clean and nice. I want to use it again later!!

They were kind and responsive, and most importantly, the location was convenient because it was equipped with infrastructure such as an area adjacent to the station and a grocery store.

I really liked the comfortable bedding and fluffy and clean towels. The accommodation was just as beautiful as the photos, and if I have to find a place to stay in Gwanggyo next time, I want to come here again!

It was a neat and pretty room as shown in the photos, and they also showed us how to register for parking, so it was good to move by car. It is right in front of the lake park and has convenient facilities such as a convenience store under the officetel. If I find an accommodation nearby again next time, I think I'll come back.

This place was perfect for what we needed. A home away from home while working locally. The hostess was amazing! She took care of everything and was very responsive to all our questions. She helped us get oriented to the area, helped us with bus and train schedules. She provided outstanding recommendations for local things to do in our free time and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and the hostess! Awesome!
