The place was fantastic! Great location, very cozy, conveniently located, close to all that Balat has to offer. Ișil, was amazing 👏! she met us on the first day, did a detailed walk through of the space, showed us around the neighborhood, and was available for any of our questions while we stayed at her gorgeous space. she even helped us with unstanding local transportation. Would absolutely stay again. Communication was second to none. Thank you, thank you!

We liked everything about this property and the host was extremely kind and helpful. The apartment is on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of a very narrow building, above a shop that was not open when we were there. If you can't do stairs, you really should NOT be in this space (and you should think twice about Istanbul in general. Istanbul has a LOT of stairs and hills!) If you have no problem with stairs, it is great. It is RIGHT next to the main tram line that goes to all the tourist locations, and very close to the tunnel elevator that takes you to the top of Galata and also very close to a ferry port. There are a couple currency exchange places right across the street and tons of restaurants in the neighborhood. The location is perfect, and the space is adorable and well-maintained. The kitchen is very minimal - do not expect to cook. You will hear city sounds out the window, like pigeon, sirens and car horns (so bring ear plugs). There is a washer/dryer combination machine.

Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

Emre's place made an unforgettable memory for us. We were there for about 10 days, the place matched the description and the photos, close to public transportations and He has been very helpful and responded. For example, We needed a baby chair , a baby bed and we found the pans not useful for us. he immediately provided them. Emre was really great and very lovely. Highly recommended.

Very nice place, on a nice street. Cars hardly drive and quite quiet at night. If you want to sleep at night, then this is the place for you. The host met and handed over the keys. Very friendly, showed everything. The apartment has everything you need and is working. The only thing is that the refrigerator worked strangely; it defrosted moments and became wet. The beds are comfortable, the son slept very well. And this is the main thing! Among the disadvantages: a smoky living room and ashtrays. The apartment is smoked, and for non-smokers this is a test. The windowsills in the bedrooms and the living room are quite low, you need to be very careful. In addition, some of the furniture is just falling apart. Otherwise, we rested for glory and my son really enjoyed it. Thank you and your success.

Peaceful and comfortable accommodation with amazing views and all the creature comforts. An excellent base for exploring Istanbul by ferry or bus, with nice cafes nearby. Can recommend using a delivery service (we used Getir) to get groceries in.

My stay with parents in this apartment was amazing and peaceful! Location is very good No issues with the transport And I would like to say thank you to Nihal , she is very nice and mindful , responding immediately. Definitely will stay next time !

The house was completely in line with the descriptions. There were multiple people available for communication, which was reassured to know that we could get support at any time. The home was in a safe, quiet neighborhood, but also easy to get to. The pool was spotless and the surroundings were well-maintained. The kitchen had everything needed; we comfortably prepared meals even with a large group. Mr. Sinan was understanding and quick to communicate; he provided an immediate solution to all our questions. Ideal for large teams: Everyone was happy with large spaces, equipped kitchen and common rooms. Thanks to our sincere attention and care, we had a smooth holiday. Travelled with my young son for dental treatment. Felt like home, everything we needed for a weeks stay. Felt very safe in the complex travelling as a solo parent. Loads of supermarkets, parks, places to eat within walking distance. Thanks again for having us to stay.

Just book this apartment! I had such a lovely stay here. It was even bigger than I imagined and I love how serene it was. Since you’re in the only apartment on that floor, you have a ton of privacy and quiet. All the little design touches were fantastic too. I stayed for a month and I was sad to leave. Can was also a very responsive, helpful, and friendly host which made the stay even more meaningful. Enjoy your time there like I did!

Beautiful apartment uphill from the heart of Balat. we stayed for 9 days so plenty of time to experience the neighborhood and the place. It was a pleasant place to stay. We didn't want to stay in the massively touristy areas and experience a little but of the local life and Balat is great for that. The place is set over 4 floors with very steep stairs. be very careful whilst coming down. luckily there's a toilet on each floor. It was comfortable, relatively quiet and safe. We travelled with cabin luggages so very grateful for the supplied shower gel and shampoo! We cooked a little and the kitchen is totally functional as is the washing machine ( although you'll need a but of Google lens translation to figure out the programmes!) Constructive criticism - could do with hooks for the towels in each bathroom and a couple more seats on the terrace. It was a really nice spot to have our breakfast and evening sundowner. Also, no TV unlike what is listed but good WiFi available.

The stay at VNG property was superb. The place was clean and is described same woth the photos. We feel so at home. We feel happy staying there and the shower was great. Water warmed quickly. The place is 10 minutes walk to taksim and some 9minutes walk to the Galata tower and restaurants nearby. Some mini markets are within range just few walks also. I really love the place.. Highly recommended . Thank you so much
