Vacation rentals with a firepit in Bahu

We stayed at this property for four days with our family of eight, and it was a great experience. Since we are from the plains, the first day felt a bit challenging—the property is at a high altitude, and the narrow roads through the hills were a little scary for us. But after that, everything just got better. The hospitality was amazing. Mohar ji, the owner, is kind and always ready to help. Amar ji, the chef, cooked everything we asked for perfectly, and the North Indian food was especially delicious. Tirathram ji, the caretaker, was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a refreshing stay, enjoyed a small bonfire and barbecue, and loved the peaceful surroundings. The view from the property is breathtaking, with beautiful mornings and starry nights. If you're looking for a quiet and scenic place to relax with great food and warm hospitality, this is the perfect spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

The place is incredibly cute and the location is perfect for those looking for peace and tranquility. The food by chef Gaurav was top notch. Felt like home. The housekeeping support by Ayush was efficient and of great quality. The entire staff there is sweet beyond measure. I would highly recommend you to come and stay here!!!

Sangat is a very warm host and he was always helpful with whatever we asked for - be it local recommendation, taxi drivers, or warm water in absence of electricity. And if you stay here, you dare not miss the food he cooks. We have stayed in Himachal for many days and at different homestays. Sangat makes the best aloo parathas, poha and especially pahadi daal. The daal was so delicious and satisfying that my husband asked him for the recipe of it. I'd definitely want to stay here the next time I visit Jibhi and would recommend everyone to stay here. Thanks for the great hospitality Sangat. This was more than we could expect in the mountains.

I had a very pleasant stay at Woodhouse, I went there with my husband and 6 other family members. Very spacious and clean rooms and bathroom. Very quite and peaceful surroundings. Dev was very helpful and always available. Dev's kitchen delicacies are a must try. 😋 Jibhi water fall and Mini Thaliland are on 40-45 minutes walk from Woodhouse. I really enjoyed the 10-15 minutes hike from parking to Woodhouse. View from the balcony is super amazing. One can sit there and spent whole day gazing those beautiful mountains while eating Dev's kitchen made tasty food. I would recommend to visit and stay at woodhouse once if planning to go to Jibhi. It was such a beautiful adventure to hike to Woodhouse and hike was average. If one is looking for good food and peaceful and private stay, Woodhouse is best to look for. We had an incredible stay at this beautiful mud hut in a very small beautiful Renh Village in sainj Valley. The hut itself was aesthetically pleasing and gave off such a unique, aesthetic vibe. It was beautifully constructed, giving us a cozy and homely feel. Our hosts, the true Pahari locals, were simply wonderful. Radha Didi, the main host, and her daughter were so warm and welcoming, making us feel like part of their family. They prepared simple, yet absolutely delicious meals for us, which tasted even more delightful in the chilly December weather. The surrounding orchards and the bonfire they lit for us added to the charm of our stay. We also loved exploring the nearby trekking spots, which were easily accessible from the hut. The villagers in the area were overwhelmingly kind and welcoming, adding to our overall experience. We can’t express how much we loved staying here and look forward to visiting again in the summer. We’ve truly left a piece of our heart in this village.

This place is the best bnb I have ever stayed at - majorly because of the host, Tarsem. Best host, says yes to everything you need. Took us around and was great to have a conversation with. The place is the most serene setting, yet lively with the locals around. Was here for a week on a workation - wifi worked perfectly well through the day for calls etc. I’d recommend this property and all other properties that Tarsem hosts in Jibhi for a peaceful and alive stay.

The food, served based on the menu, was delicious, with our top recommendations being Rara Chicken and Rajma Chawal. They also guided us to nearby attractions, providing clear directions. Additionally, Door Ji assisted us in coordinating with local taxi services, ensuring smooth travel and a hassle-free return. I highly recommend this cottage for a vacation—it’s a perfect choice for families or groups.

Chaman and Toni were of great help at the property, they were prompt with everything that we had asked for. They helped us with our daily travel in and around the property. Chaman is also a great cook and always available whenever asked. The property is in the middle of an apple farm and you get to interact with a lot of people around the village. We had a great time here for 9 nights and would highly recommend this cozy property. The room has breathtaking views through the day. They also helped us with a bonfire at nights on request. One thing to note, it is a bit of a climb to the property and this may not be suitable for aged groups. The staff was helpful with getting our luggage up and down the property. 5/5 property
