Our charmingly renovated press house is situated on a secluded row of cellars in the enchanting hills of Balatonendréd, next to beautiful vineyards and a magical forest. It is an ideal choice for those who want to get away from the city noise and enjoy the nature.The place is named after a bird called the hoopoe which lives in the area and is most often seen on the way to the cottage when taking a powder bath. The courtyard features a small pool for hot summer days, while the nearest beach is only a 10-minute drive away. Please note that while the Countryhouse itself is fully private, the outdoor areas are shared with guests staying in the other units. The garden offers plenty of spots for everyone to relax comfortably.

There is lots of things to do like wine tasting, biking, hiking, horseback riding, water sports etc. Hungary's most beautiful golf course is only 2,6 kilometers away. Within 300 meters there is an open air cinema.

Dörgicse is a quiet little gem of the Balaton Uplands, special restaurants, Lake Balaton activities and an old timer museum nearby. The house has air conditioning to keep it warm in winter and cool in summer. After a hike, a hot, relaxing bath in the two-person tub is ideal.
