Cozy A-frame cabin located about 15 minutes from the slopes and at the doorstep of some of the best hikes the PNW has to offer.
“Loved our stay at the cabin! So picturesque, had everything you needed (kitchen tools, lots of towels, super fluffy comforter/pillows, shampoo) but also extra comforts (Netflix, jacuzzi)! The river that’s walking distance from the cabin was perfect for floating in. Only surprise we had was seeing a bear! Twice! Seemed like it was comfortable being around people and was looking through our garbage cans so I would recommend not throwing anything away in them until after your stay.”
Named after the neighboring Foss River, Foss Haus is ideally located 10 minutes from Steven's Pass and hundreds of outdoor activities. Just a 5 minute drive to the Alpine Lakes wilderness or a short walk to the private community beach at the Skykomish River.
“I've always wanted to stay in an A-Frame cabin and the Foss Haus didn't disappoint! This quaint cabin has everything you'll need for a weekend getaway--whether you're wanting to stay in or explore the area. The cabin is conveniently close to tons of beautiful hikes. Be mindful that the cabin is pretty close to Hwy 2, though, which may be an issue if you're a light sleeper. Tom was always quick to respond, professional, and offered great recommendations. I highly recommend checking out one of his A-frame cabins!”

It is the perfect launching point for year-round activities – skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing in the winters, and hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and climbing for the rest of the year. Not very outdoorsy? SkyCabin is a perfect cozy retreat in the woods, in a quiet town, away from the hustle and bustle of the city!
“11/10 would recommend. We stayed at the cabin the whole time except to hike and the place had everything! All the cooking utensils we needed for all our meals,incredible interior aesthetics, and so much more! I’m pretty sure we spent the full weekend talking about how much we loved this place. 😅 If you’re thinking about booking this place don’t wait - it books quick for a reason. Well worth it and we can’t wait to come back!”
